Chapter 135: Inherited Sunglasses

Everyone in the team was concentrating on getting on with their journey. Every time they stepped on the ground, there was a pit that sank up to their calves. They had to pull themselves out and take the next step.

It was more difficult for the ox cart to move forward than for people to walk. At that time, there were few carts and people, and there was not even a track on the road. They could only move forward slowly, leaving footprints one step at a time.

Seeing that the ox cart was moving slowly, everyone spontaneously pushed the cart from behind.

This small group of people managed to trample a path through the snow-covered country road.

The group moved forward slowly, heading towards the town.

"The whole road is white, it makes me dizzy!" Su Nian said while walking and looking around.

I thought to myself, if I walk on this road for a whole day, will my eyes get damaged?

"Who said it wasn't? It's white everywhere, white! There's no end in sight, as if there's no end to walking!" Shuanzi also looked around from time to time and said casually.

"If you're afraid of getting dizzy, just close your eyes and follow the cow!"

Captain Chen had been looking at white all winter, and now he saw that there was no other color around him. He was very annoyed, but the snow just wouldn't melt and there was nothing he could do.

"Captain Chen, there is only one female educated youth in the team, let her ride in the ox cart!" Uncle Niu, who was driving the cart, said to Su Nian who was looking around behind the ox cart.

"Is everyone okay with this?" Captain Chen did not agree immediately, but asked loudly.

“We have no objection!”

"No problem! It's just a girl! Let her ride!"

Everyone agreed that young men from the countryside did have some capacity.

Su Nian thanked him gratefully: "It's okay, I'm not tired!"

Su Nian refused with a smile. Such a journey was a piece of cake for her. Maybe even if those guys fell down from exhaustion, she would be fine.

"Just get in the car if I tell you to! Why are you talking so much?" Captain Chen spoke when he saw that Su Nian really didn't want to get in.

"Well~Okay! Thank you all for your kindness! Let's take turns!" After Su Nian said this, he no longer refused and got on the ox cart directly.

To be honest, this ox cart is not as fast as walking. It seems that Captain Chen is doing this for his own good. Uncle Niu cherishes the cows he raises so much that he asked to let me get on the cart. I guess he still remembers my kindness.

"Uncle Niu! Thank you!" Su Nian sat in the car and thanked Uncle Niu with a smile.

"Why are you being polite? You are a good comrade!" Uncle Niu also said with a smile.

Su Nian smiled after hearing this, but did not continue to speak. Instead, he sat quietly on the ox cart and looked at the snow scene around him. After looking for a while, he closed his eyes and rested.

"Everyone, take turns riding in the car! Close your eyes and rest for a while. It's good for your eyes!" Su Nian said after sitting for a while.

"Why do I feel uncomfortable in my eyes? I always want to cry!" Shuanzi rubbed his eyes and said strangely.

"Get in the car and close your eyes and rest for a while!" Su Nian got out of the car and let Shuanzi get in.

"Walking in the snow for too long can easily cause snow blindness, so everyone should be careful!" Qin Yulin reminded.

"Will our eyes go blind?"

"No! Even if it's snow blindness, it will only take a few days!"

"Oh no! That won't do! Being blind for a few days won't do! Shuanzi, are your eyes healed? It's my turn!"

"Don't be anxious! I just came up!" When Shuanzi heard the word snow blindness, he didn't know what snow blindness was, but he knew that blindness means blind, so he started to take it seriously.

"Then I'll walk with my eyes closed!"

"Me too!"

"Come on! Pull it up!"

Several young men held hands, closed their eyes, and the one in front held the ox cart. It really happened as Captain Chen said.

Su Nian looked at this scene and smiled secretly. It was amazing that Captain Chen could come up with such an idea.

Su Nian quietly took out a pair of sunglasses from her bag and stuffed them into the hands of Qin Yulin, who was walking last.

These sunglasses have round lenses, the kind worn by villains in anti-Japanese war dramas. Nowadays, some people with poor eyesight have worn them, and they are not too conspicuous.

Qin Yulin felt that there was something extra in his hand. He looked down and saw that it was a pair of small sunglasses. He couldn't help but smile.

Su Nian also secretly stuck out her tongue, thinking, do you look like the traitor leader in the modern anti-Japanese war drama after wearing it?

Qin Yulin put them on without saying a word. What's more, with Qin Yulin's image as a tough guy, he looks quite cool wearing these small sunglasses!

"Hey! Qin Zhiqing! Your glasses are so cute! Let me wear them!" Shuanzi had sat for a long time and when he opened his eyes to get off the bus, he saw the cool Qin Yulin at a glance and said with envy.

"No! This is a treasure passed down from my ancestors!" Qin Yulin said coolly.

"...A pair of glasses passed down from generation to generation? Qin Zhiqing, your ancestors are really interesting!" After hearing this, Shuanzi muttered something that was difficult to put into words.

If you don't want to wear it, then don't wear it. And you have to come up with such a lame excuse! It's really not funny at all.

Su Nian was also shocked by Qin Yulin's fresh and unconventional excuse. How could it be your ancestral treasure when I just gave it to you? I am not your ancestor...

Qin Yulin saw Su Nian's wild and unrealistic smile on her face, and knew that her thoughts must be wandering again.

"What are you thinking about? Are you wondering when you became my ancestor?" Qin Yulin looked at Su Nian's expression and couldn't help but tap her little head lightly, and asked in a low voice with a mixture of anger and amusement.

"How did you know?" Su Nian couldn't help but blurt out, still wondering how Qin Yulin could read people's minds? He always guessed right!

"Heh!" Qin Yulin couldn't help laughing. This silly little girl, I don't know how she developed all those skills?
