The reason why he indulged Li's mother's mischief was simply because Sister Hong had been busy with business in the past two years and had become increasingly powerful at home. She no longer put him first in everything and listened to his opinions like she did in the past. He felt unbalanced, so he wanted to teach her a lesson.
But things got out of hand and Sister Hong really thought he had changed his mind, and things got out of control.
Sister Hong left the Civil Affairs Bureau, took a taxi, and came to Xinyi Clothing Store.

Jiang Mingxin patted her on the back, took her hand and sat down.
"Since Li Han is so stubborn and refuses to divorce, you don't have to show any mercy. Just go find a lawyer and file for divorce in court. Also, let him know that I'm treating his whole family to dinner at the Hongsheng Restaurant."
"If you don't come here, I'll deduct a month's salary from him!"
