Wei Wenjie looked at the fruits of his labor with a satisfied smile on his face and a sense of accomplishment in his heart. His expression seemed to be saying, "Praise him!"
Tian Xiaolan touched it and said, "You cleaned it so well, I didn't feel any dust at all."
"Of course! Who's better, me or Xing Yifei?"
"You're awesome!" Tian Xiaolan saw how hard he was working and didn't mind giving him some candy.
Wei Wenjie is so bright when he gets the sunshine, and he laughs so hard that he can't find his way. Xiaolan said so, and Xing Yifei can't compare to him.
After I had tidied up everything upstairs, I heard some talking downstairs.
Tian Xiaolan went downstairs to see that Xing Yifei and his brothers came into the store with bags and put the things away.
A man followed Xing Yifei in and looked around as he entered, saying with disdain, "Boss, why did you choose such a place?"
Xing Yifei introduced them: "Since there are so many of you, I can let you sit here. Why don't you thank her? This is Tian Xiaolan, the owner of this store."
The boss had spoken, so he couldn't be so tactless as to insult him: "Thanks."
Tian Xiaolan smiled and waved her hands, too lazy to argue with the man: "No need to thank me, you are all Xing Yifei's brothers. He and I are friends, and you are also my friends. Don't be so formal, just treat us like you're at home when we have dinner together!"
The man looked at Tian Xiaolan, then at Xing Yifei, as if he understood why he had to come here to eat: "You are our eldest brother's friend, of course we will not be shy."
The others followed suit.
Tian Xiaolan said, "You must have been tired after sitting in the car for so long. Go sit upstairs for a while! The food will be ready soon."
Xing Yifei strode into the kitchen and ignored him.
Chen Shaohui then walked in and said to Wei Wenjie, "How come you don't learn your lesson? I can even see through your little tricks."
The original intention of Chen Shaohui was to remind him not to do such stupid things again. If he wanted to do something, he should do it smartly, otherwise he should not do it at all.
Wei Wenjie seemed not to understand what he meant and turned his head away and ignored him.
Chen Shaohui went upstairs.
In the kitchen, Xing Yifei helped Tian Xiaolan watch the fire: "Don't panic, those guys didn't treat themselves badly by going to sleep." He knew that they were crying out for hunger probably because they thought Tian Xiaolan was easy to bully, so they said that on purpose.
Tian Xiaolan nodded: "Okay."
The two of them cooked in the kitchen. Tian Xiaolan waited until the oil was hot, poured the vegetables in, and then stir-fried them with a spatula. When they changed color, she started adding seasonings.
Mix the seasonings well, scoop out and put it on a plate.
Xing Yifei volunteered, "Let me wash the pot!"
Tian Xiaolan nodded: "Okay."
Cover the food on the plate with a lid to prevent other things from getting into it.
Taking advantage of his free time, Tian Xiaolan went to wash the bowls and chopsticks in the backpack. He really paid attention to everything when cleaning.
When Tian Xiaolan finished washing the dishes, Xing Yifei had also finished washing the pot and said to her, "I'll cook, you light the fire!"
"Okay."
Tian Xiaolan and Xing Yifei worked together to cook, and soon they made plates of dishes and served them on the table.
Chen Shaohui came over and asked, "Boss, is it time to eat?"
He was already extremely hungry. He hadn't eaten much in the morning and yet he went to buy coal. They really treated him as a coolie. Now the only thought in his mind was to eat!
Xing Yifei seemed to see his inner thoughts and said to them, "You can't eat for free. After dinner, you have to help Tian Xiaolan clean up the house!"
Those people agreed in unison. Now that they saw the table full of delicious food, they just wanted to eat and would agree to any additional conditions.
