Chapter 308 Sit Down

In the village, Hu Chunsheng returned home and saw two people standing at his door from a distance, so he couldn't help but quicken his pace.

Just now, when he was outside, he suddenly thought that the woodshed was not safe. If it was used as firewood and burned at noon, all of it would be wasted. Moreover, she would definitely stand on Dad's side. If she found out that it was not burned and told Dad, it would be like a machete hanging over his head, ready to fall at any time.

When he reached the door, he saw it was closed in broad daylight. He raised his hand to push the door, but it was locked from the inside. This made him speechless. Not only did he not come out in broad daylight, but closing the door meant he was not allowed to go home! He suddenly felt furious.

He called out to her from outside the door: "Wang Cuiye, open the door for me! You locked the door in broad daylight and are you trying to get me to do something shameful behind my back?"

Wang Cuiye, who was in the room, heard his shouting and hurriedly put down her breastfeeding child, tidied her clothes and ran over to open the door for him. She complained: "What are you talking about! I'm breastfeeding your daughter, and now she's teething and it's biting me so hard it hurts."

Hu Chunsheng smiled and rubbed her face and said: "I'll help you blow it later. If you haven't done anything wrong to me, why do you close the door?"

Even though he said he believed her, he couldn't help but look around. He didn't see anyone in the house where someone could hide.

Wang Cuiye looked at him and whispered: "You don't know, Tian Xiaolan came after you left this morning."

Hu Chunsheng stood up as soon as he sat down, frowned and didn't have time to listen to her. He immediately walked towards the kitchen. She came to his house for no reason and asked Cui Ye to close the door. He ran towards the firewood pile anxiously.

He dug up the tightly packed firewood and found not a single hair left. Where did his things go? Hu Chunsheng was still thinking that if Cui Ye found it, it would be better than Tian Xiaolan finding it. He didn't dare to think that if Tian Xiaolan took the account book and used it against his family, he would have no good life.

He still asked Wang Cuiye unwillingly, "Have you seen the account book this morning?"

Wang Cuiye pointed at the stove and said, "Aren't you burning it?"

Hu Chunsheng's eyes widened as he looked at Wang Cuiye, "Did Tian Xiaolan come in today?"

Wang Cuiye was frightened by his fierce look and put the bowl of water in her hand on the stove beside her: "Yes, he said his dog was lost and came in to look for it. What's wrong?"

Wang Cuiye went to see the messy pile of firewood he had just rummaged through, but there was nothing there. She didn't know what he was looking for and why he was hiding it there.

Hu Chunsheng could no longer bear it, and cursed with red eyes: "Use your brain, she said the dog is lost, then it's lost, then I told you to die, why don't you go! You don't have to die, if anyone has to die, I will die first!"

Originally, he thought that the future would be bright, but he didn't expect that Tian Xiaolan, the troublemaker, would actually run to his house and steal things. Cuilan, the fool, was so careless that she let her rummage around the house even though she was not even familiar with him. The two people he saw from a distance just now were probably Tian Xiaolan.

If he had been bullied for a long time, he would definitely report it if he got the account book. Thinking about this clearly, he quickly thought of a countermeasure. Although he had made this fake account book, only a few cents went into his pocket. Most of it went into Wang Long's pocket. If Wang Long knew that the account book was missing, he would definitely make him the scapegoat. Wang Long would definitely claim that he knew nothing.

Wang Cuiye couldn't help but burst into tears when he said that. She'd rarely been scolded since she got married, but today, she wondered if he'd taken the wrong medicine, as he'd gotten mad at her the moment he came back. "Hu Chunsheng put something in the firewood pile, who would have thought it was something important?" She waited a little aggrieved for Hu Chunsheng to come and comfort her. After a few minutes, she found him standing there in a daze, and another stream of tears began to flow.

Hu Chunsheng was thinking about something else in his mind and pretended not to notice her sadness. He was thinking about what he could do to avoid taking this responsibility. She was crying sadly and feeling upset beside him.

It's too late to chase her now. Since she took the account book, she will rush to the town to find the director to explain everything. If he chases her now, it will make him look guilty. So he simply doesn't chase her and waits for them to come.

He walked out and looked around the house and found a small footprint, one behind each window. He immediately had an idea. As long as he denied that he had made the account book, what could Tian Xiaolan do to him? The footprint could also be used as evidence. After thinking of a plan, he smiled tentatively.
