Chapter 138 Negotiated

Ah Hua shook her head. Although the weather was hot and she was too busy to spare time, she was full of expectations for the future.

It’s no longer like before, when I only thought about raising my daughter and just let my life pass by like that.

The two of them went into the store to talk. Jiang Yanqing picked up the broom that Ah Hua had just thrown aside and continued to sweep the floor, saying, "Sister Ah Hua, I'm going to bother you at your house later."

The shop was empty, without even a stool, and with so many people coming and going it was not convenient to talk. The two of them wanted to discuss important matters about the shop, which would definitely not be convenient here.

Ah Hua also understood this and replied, "Xiao Jiang, look at you, you are still so polite to me. I will cook two delicious dishes for lunch and have a drink with me."

The weather in the north is cold, so most people like to drink. Ah Hua married from the north and also likes to drink, and she can drink quite well.

But she hadn't had a drink in a long time because there was nothing worth celebrating.

But now, she felt very happy to know Jiang Yanqing and wanted to drink some wine to have some fun.

Actually, there wasn't much to do today. The walls had already been painted white, and they needed to air dry for two days before we could start decorating and arranging them.

In the morning, the workers cleared out and left. Ah Hua locked the shop door and took Jiang Yanqing home.

Ahua's daughter Yaya still remembered Jiang Yanqing. When she saw Jiang Yanqing coming, she obediently called her "sister" and then stood aside with her lips pursed. She was so cute.

Jiang Yanqing agreed and took out a handful of candy from her schoolbag and handed it over, "Yaya, sister brought you some candy."

Yaya looked at her mother, and after getting her mother's approval, she stretched out her hands to take the candy and held it in her arms, and said thank you obediently.

Jiang Yanqing smiled and responded.

Ah Hua watched the interaction between the two with a smile. Seeing her daughter lower her head to look at the candy in her arms several times, she touched her head and said, "Yaya, go to your room and eat candy. You are only allowed to eat two. Mom will call you for dinner later."

Yaya responded, turned around and carefully walked into the room holding the candy.

It was almost time for dinner, and the two of them were in no hurry to talk. As Ah Hua walked towards the kitchen, she said, "Xiao Jiang, sit down and rest for a while. I'll go cook."

Of course, Jiang Yanqing couldn't sit alone in the main hall. She felt bored and awkward, so she quickly followed behind and said, "Sister Hua, let me help you. Don't be polite to me. We will be good partners from now on."

These words stopped Ah Hua from rejecting her decision. She sighed inwardly that Jiang Yanqing was so young, yet he was living like a smart person.

The two of them entered the kitchen one after the other. Jiang Yanqing took a quick look and saw that Sister Ahua was indeed a diligent and efficient woman, and the kitchen was tidy.

Guessing that the time they had agreed upon had arrived, Ah Hua had been waiting for Jiang Yanqing to come, and had also prepared some food at home so that she wouldn't be caught off guard.

Early this morning, Ah Hua went to the market and bought a pound of meat and some tofu. At noon, she made a dish of Mapo Tofu, a dish of meat stewed with potatoes, a scrambled egg, some fried peanuts, and a dish of smashed cucumber.

Ah Hua was efficient in her work, so Jiang Yanqing didn't need to do anything. She just helped out and passed on some firewood.

During lunch, Ah Hua really took out a bottle of white wine. Jiang Yanqing took a look and was surprised to find that it was 45 degrees.

In his previous life, Jiang Yanqing rarely drank liquor, only fruit wine or cocktails. After coming here, because of his young age, he didn't touch alcohol at all.

To be honest, Jiang Yanqing was a little hesitant to drink such a strong liquor, so she said tactfully, "Sister Hua, I've never drunk alcohol before. If I drink too much later, we won't be able to discuss business."

"How about this, on the day our store opens, I'll have a drink with you, and we won't leave until we're drunk."

Ah Hua wanted to drink at first, just because she was in a good mood. Later, when she took out the wine, she thought that Jiang Yanqing was young and really not suitable for drinking, and she felt that she had been a little inconsiderate.

Just as she was about to speak, Jiang Yanqing spoke as well. They both had the same idea. Ah Hua readily put away the wine, and the three of them started eating with the hot white steamed buns.

After lunch, Ah Hua had already cleaned up a room and left it for Jiang Yanqing to take a nap, and then she took her daughter back to the house to take a nap.

Jiang Yanqing couldn't refuse, so she had to stay in the room, locked the door, and entered the space.

It was hot at noon, and Jiang Yanqing, who came from the future, had no choice but to fall asleep in a room without air conditioning.

Ah Hua also took this into consideration and gave Jiang Yanqing a palm-leaf fan, because their family did not have an electric fan.

However, Jiang Yanqing was too lazy to fan herself. Since she had entered the space, she could hear anyone calling her outside.

The moment she entered the space, Jiang Yanqing felt as if she had come back to life, and immediately felt comfortable from head to toe.

I set the alarm in my space and took a nap. When Jiang Yanqing came out of the room, it was almost two o'clock.

Ah Hua had already gotten up and was sitting in the main room mending shoe soles. When Jiang Yanqing entered, Ah Hua looked up and said with a smile, "Xiao Jiang is up."
