Chapter 29 was totally worth it!

"Customization is available?" the woman asked in surprise.

“My customization rules are a little different here. If a customer requests a customized style, the cheaper ones will be sold in limited quantities. The more expensive ones will be one piece only. I wonder if this customer needs a customization? If it's not a high-end item, I can make one in a day,” Sheng Qian said, taking out a pencil and paper to register the order.

The woman smiled and asked, "What's the price of the premium model?"

Sheng Qian looked up at the middle-aged woman and said, "That depends on the price the customer offers; it can range from several hundred to several thousand."

The middle-aged woman was a little dumbfounded; she had thought Sheng Qian would say it would cost a few dozen yuan.

In this day and age, asking for a price of several hundred or several thousand is either crazy or the other party is worth that amount.

Obviously.

In the eyes of the middle-aged woman, Sheng Qian was simply insane.

"Then give me these two sets," the middle-aged woman said, adding that even if she had money, she couldn't just squander it.

It's not worth it for just two pieces of clothing.

Ye Li, who was walking past with his hands behind his back, suddenly stepped back and called out, "Little girl, you're here!"

"Grandpa, it's you again."

Because the other party gave her a thank-you gift of two thousand yuan, Sheng Qian was quite warm towards the old man.

Ye Li had found out that Sheng Qian was selling clothes here, so he came to take a look.

"Why are you selling clothes now?" Ye Li asked in surprise.

This girl previously demonstrated her medical skills in front of him, and now she's suddenly started selling clothes. This career move is a bit too far.

Sheng Qian's clear, spring-like eyes curved slightly as she smiled and said, "It's not easy for me, all for the sake of having a mouth to eat. At my age, my medical skills aren't very good either. If you hadn't suddenly collapsed and I hadn't saved you, would you believe me?"

Ye Li shook his head without even thinking.

Indeed, the older a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner is, the more valuable they become.

At the age of seventeen or eighteen, if Sheng Qian were to claim that she possessed superb medical skills, people would probably laugh their heads off.

Ye Li's eyes flickered, and he said, "Little girl, given the situation of the Long family, they should be able to help you. Why do you still need to sell a few clothes here?"

Logically speaking, with such a family to marry into, Sheng Qian shouldn't have to worry about food and clothing anymore.

Sheng Qian, on the other hand, is always busy with this.

"Some things are more comfortable to use when you have them in your hands. Things you ask for are never truly usable. Besides, my situation is a bit special, so I prefer to rely on my own abilities to support myself."

“Well said,” Ye Li agreed and admired the young man. “My family also has people in business. How about I call my kids and ask if they can provide you with a shortcut to better sell your clothes.”

Sheng Qian's eyes lit up: "That's great! I'll trouble you to ask around at home!"

That old man was totally worth saving!

Ye Li waved his hand and said, "This matter is still uncertain, and I may not be able to help."

"No matter what, thank you so much!" Sheng Qian said with a smile.

Although I don't know where this old man came from, judging from his demeanor, he's definitely not an ordinary old man.

The old man waved his hand again and left.

A neighboring clothing seller, seeing Sheng Qian's thriving business, had a flicker of jealousy in his eyes. Despite being far away, he still managed to steal a significant amount of business from her.

The woman selling clothes was also a woman, and she looked to be around 23 years old.

However, because she had given birth to several children and did not take good care of herself, her figure had changed, and her complexion was somewhat sallow.

To have skin like this at such a young age, in a few years, this face will probably develop age spots.

After Sheng Qian sold all twenty-odd sets of clothes and was tidying up, the woman came over.

"Excuse me, where did you get these clothes from?"

Sheng Qian turned around, glanced at the woman, and said, "I made it myself."

She asked in surprise, "You made it yourself?"

Clearly, she doubted Sheng Qian's words, looked Sheng Qian up and down, and estimated Sheng Qian's age.

He must have lied because he didn't want to tell her.

The woman forced a smile and introduced herself, "My name is Wang Yan. I also sell clothes over there. I have a small stall outside, just like you."

She said this so that she could have something in common with Sheng Qian.

"Oh, hello," Sheng Qian nodded to Wang Yan.

Wang Yan asked with a smile, "What's your name? Judging from your age, you should still be in school. Why are you out here selling clothes all by yourself?"

People like them are mostly looked down upon.

Because women who set up stalls are often mistakenly perceived as having inappropriate thoughts or being problematic women.

"We're short of money."

Wang Yan was taken aback by this answer.

He thought to himself, "Who doesn't need money? If they didn't need money, why would they come out to do these thankless and arduous jobs?"

Wang Yan still hadn't gotten any information about Sheng Qian until she finished packing and rode away on her bicycle.

Since they set up a stall in this town, they should be able to find out.

Wang Yan made up her mind to learn the skills of Sheng Qian's master.

Wang Yan still believed that Sheng Qian had secretly taken a master, but was being stingy by not wanting anyone to take away the benefits of her disciple, which was why she didn't tell the truth.

As Sheng Qian rode her bicycle past several houses, she suddenly heard shouts of fighting and cursing coming from the alleyway on the other side, along with a girl's screams.

These days, it's not uncommon to see people beating their wives and children.

Sheng Qian shook her head and didn't stop to join in the fun.

When they got home, Hou Guifang had already eaten lunch. It was almost one o'clock. Sheng Qian was also quite hungry, so she put down the large box and went into the kitchen.

"Xiaoqian, you're back. I've kept the food warm in the pot for you."

"Thank you, Aunt Fang," Sheng Qian said, taking out the food and starting to eat.
