Long Yunting had already arrived in Haicheng the day before the mini-summit.
Even Sheng Qian was unaware of this.
She and Madam Ju parted ways and returned to this courtyard. Just as she was about to eat the dinner that He Weiguo and the others had prepared for her, she heard a prying sound coming from behind the window.

As soon as he finished speaking, the chopsticks in his hand shot out.
He went through it and plunged directly into the wooden window.
With the window half-open, Long Yunting turned slightly to the side, just in time to avoid her attack.
"Qianqian, you want to murder your husband."
"Artin!"
Sheng Qian rushed over to Long Yunting as soon as she saw him, "Are you alright?"
Long Yunting's tall frame squeezed in and put his arm around her waist. "Do you think your man is so easily hurt?"
"Shameless! You're even praising yourself now. When did you arrive?" Sheng Qian lightly punched him. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming to Haicheng?"
I want to give you a surprise!
"It was quite a pleasant surprise," Sheng Qian smiled. "Have you eaten yet?"
Long Yunting let go of her, walked to the window and took out the food he had brought from outside. "I came here to have dinner with you."
Without a word, Sheng Qian took it and sat down with him, holding his hand. "You came alone?"
“I brought some people with me. Haicheng is unstable. A lot has happened recently. Why didn’t you tell me? Qianqian, my heart aches whenever I think about the danger that might be happening to you. You don’t need my people with you, but you still need to tell me constantly whether you are safe.”
Long Yunting was a little angry; she refused to let his men follow her, but wouldn't tell him these things.
Every time we talk, all they say is "okay".
"I'm fine, aren't I? I have these people around me, and no one can take my life yet," Sheng Qian didn't dare to look at him, much less mention that someone had almost killed her last time, and that perhaps even more people would want her dead at tomorrow's summit.

“That’s not true,” Sheng Qian immediately looked at him.
I met his deep, unfathomable eyes.
Sheng Qian looked at him, and he looked at her too.
Long Yunting gently leaned him down and kissed him.
Sheng Qian hooked her arm around his neck, responding to his advances.
They kissed Sheng Qian until she was breathless before finally letting go.
Looking at the person leaning against him, Long Yunting felt that she was much closer to him.
“You make me feel useless, Qianqian. You should have told me,” Long Yunting’s fingertips gently brushed her lips, “There is a Yan Shuze in Haicheng. I’ve been very worried about him from the beginning. It was only because you said you would report everything to me that I was willing to let you come over.”
"I didn't say that..."
"You have."
"Okay, I did, I broke my promise. Punish me."
"Let's eat first."
Long Yunting released the person.
"Really no punishment?"

Sheng Qian's face flushed.
This makes her seem impatient.

“There won’t be any trouble for now. With my father-in-law and brother-in-law here, things have calmed down for the time being. Once we’ve dealt with things in Haicheng, things will be almost settled,” Long Yunting comforted him. “You don’t need to worry about their safety either. They’re from S District, and they’re not exactly benevolent people.”
Sheng Qian smiled bitterly, "I never expected to have this kind of relationship with the Helan family, let alone that they would be from District S."
“We’ve been involved with Sector S from the very beginning, and we know we’ll be entangled with them in the future,” Long Yunting thought that was fine.
Fortunately, Helan and his group stood with the conservatives, not the ambitious ones.
If you're an ambitious person, the situation is different.
They might really turn against each other.
Because of Sheng Qian's past life.
Also because of differing stances.
Sheng Qian stood on the side of their sworn enemy, while he stood on the side of justice.
Thinking of that life-or-death scene, Long Yunting couldn't help but frown.
Fortunately, that's not the case.
"I shouldn't have involved you in the first place."
"Don't talk nonsense. Even if you don't get involved, you'll eventually run into them. It's only a matter of time. Getting involved early has its advantages. You can take precautions and reduce the damage, which is a good thing."
"You certainly know how to comfort people," Sheng Qian said with a smile, her head bowed.

With Long Yunting and the others around, they felt a bit more relaxed and didn't have to worry about Sheng Qian doing anything reckless.
Sheng Qian has been doing things too boldly lately, and she's been so high-profile that she's not like the Sheng Qian she used to be.
Sometimes they even wondered if Sheng Qian had been possessed.
With Long Yunting by her side, Sheng Qian was much more restrained in everything she did.
“Let’s go,” Sheng Qian nodded to He Weiguo and the others, and left the place first.
"Isn't Team Dragon coming with us?"
