Sheng Qian spoke to Ye Li in a negotiating manner.
He could get the coal mine and also sever ties with Ye Li, so they could have nothing to do with each other from now on.

Sheng Qian accepted it without hesitation.
Just as he was about to leave, Song Wei stopped him: "Old Master Ye is not someone you can manipulate at will."
Sheng Qian was taken aback for a moment, then chuckled: "I never intended to manipulate an old man."
