Chapter 49 The Boss Wants to See You

Ju Baifeng had Sheng Qian walk around with him and made some distinctions about the parts she needed to make.

The old lady didn't leave immediately, but followed behind them, observing Sheng Qian.

What shocked them again was Sheng Qian's technical guidance ability.

It's not easy to manufacture new parts.

Some workers still couldn't quite understand the blueprints after receiving them, so Sheng Qianqian had to personally go up and provide guidance.

For things that can't be done, we have to build new equipment.

Sheng Qian immediately drew a set of equipment for Ju Baifeng, which would enable him to create better parts.

Things that couldn't be made before are now much easier to manufacture with this equipment.

Because of Sheng Qian's actions, Ju Baifeng's gaze towards her changed once again.

His enthusiasm for Sheng Qian was even greater.

Sheng Qian drew the equipment diagram because she wanted Ju Baifeng and the others to see her value.

What led Sheng Qian to choose to draw it was their support.

They didn't treat her the same way they did at the small steel factory she had visited before.

She found the person to be knowledgeable and also thought he had a good personality, so she wanted to cooperate with him.

Since the goal is to cooperate, you should demonstrate your value to gain the other party's trust and consideration.

When Ju Baifeng saw the equipment diagrams drawn by Sheng Qian herself, he thought of various ways to reach a long-term cooperation with Sheng Qian.

He wanted more than just a hardware processing plant.

He also wants to develop another aspect, such as manufacturing more perfect equipment.

At their current level, they are simply no match for those abroad.

He often felt a pang of bitterness whenever he heard that foreign countries were far superior to domestic ones.

They are still seeking help from abroad for many of their devices, and are being humiliated despite their shamelessness.

He simply couldn't swallow this insult.

But what can they do? Their own equipment is incomplete, so they can only rely on foreign technology.

Sheng Qian's talent gave Ju Baifeng hope.

If they can retain Sheng Qian and establish a long-term partnership, it won't be long before they can move up the ranks and create many things on their own, or even do them better.

Sheng Qian was unaware of Ju Baifeng's thoughts; she was solely focused on accomplishing her own goals.

All she wants right now is money!

Without money, you can't get anywhere.

By the end of the day, Sheng Qian had left them with quite a few shocks.

8 PM.

As soon as Sheng Qian left the factory, Ju Baifeng was about to drive the old lady back to her residence.

“Aunt, this Sheng Qian has amazing talent. Should we find an opportunity to cooperate with her in the long term?” Ju Baifeng asked the old lady.

The old lady also watched for a day and realized that Sheng Qian's talent was even greater than they had imagined.

Some of them didn't even show it, which shows that Sheng Qian doesn't trust them enough.

It's true that you can't fully trust someone you've only known for a day or two.

“Baifeng, if we can’t give her what she needs, we simply won’t be able to recruit someone like her.”

The old lady saw it clearly. Sheng Qian didn't seem aggressive at first glance, and her attitude seemed very gentle. But once you got to know her, you'd realize how deceptive she was on the outside.

Sheng Qian's face looks seven or eight parts like her former daughter, but her personality and talents are completely different.

Sheng Qian possessed an inherent sharpness, the hidden aura of someone in a position of power.

His talent is truly astonishing.

Upon hearing this, Ju Baifeng already knew what kind of person Sheng Qian was in his aunt's eyes.

Ju Baifeng took a deep breath and said, "Aunt, back then I followed you to face those foreigners and saw with my own eyes how they humiliated us... Even now, I still can't swallow this insult. I'm useless; I haven't been able to learn even half of your abilities."

Ju Baifeng was consumed by self-blame.

The old lady shook her head. "It's not that you're useless, it's just that some people are too strong. Strong enough that even I can't match them. I know that Sheng Qian's appearance gave you a glimmer of hope. But we simply can't give more to someone like Sheng Qian. Besides, not everyone is willing to sacrifice their precious time to study those things. I saw a burning desire for money in her eyes, so we can't hold onto someone like that. You can't force things."

Ju Baifeng was stunned for a long time after hearing the old lady's long speech.

The old lady was worried that he would use force to coerce Sheng Qian, so she gave him a heads-up in advance.

Ju Baifeng said, "Auntie, don't worry. I'm already this old, how could I possibly pressure a comrade who's even younger than my daughter?"

Sheng Qian was unaware of Ju Baifeng's conversation with the old lady. She rode her bicycle back to the guesthouse where she was staying.

As soon as she reached the second floor, she saw two tall, burly men in black suits standing in front of her door, staring sharply at Sheng Qian.

Sheng Qian greeted them calmly, "Did you two need something from me?"

Seeing Sheng Qian's composure, the two men were taken aback at first, and then they realized what was happening.

"Your name is Sheng Qian?" one of them asked.

Sheng Qian nodded: "My name is Sheng Qian."

“Our boss wants to see you,” the man said directly.

They stood on either side, giving off a coercive air.

Sheng Qian curled her lips, "Who is your boss? Why do you want to see me? And why didn't your boss come to see me in person? Why do I have to make this trip with you? I'm not going. You've got such a bad habit. You think you're filming a TV show, and your boss wants to see me."
