Chapter 51: His Identity is Not Simple

Hua Bin drove for three hours to Xuan City with Sheng Qian's artwork.

The man who had been injured by Sheng Qian also came along.

We arrived at a large iron gate.

They got off the car together.

The people inside opened the iron gate and invited them in.

This large villa blends retro style with some modern touches.

Upon entering the living room, they greeted the elderly man sitting on the sofa.

The old man looked to be in his fifties or sixties, with a sharp gaze that concealed a desire for power.

The old man openly displayed his ambition, without any attempt to conceal it.

"teacher."

The man who had been injured by Sheng Qian walked up to the old man and called out.

The old man raised his eyes, glanced at him, and raised an eyebrow: "How did you get beaten up like this?"

"That woman was quite ruthless; I couldn't dodge her attack," he thought, feeling ashamed for not being able to get the blueprints for his teacher and even getting beaten up.

The old man merely frowned slightly and said slowly, "I heard she redraws the model. Let me see."

Hua Bin handed over the file folder in his hand: "Professor Chen, please take a look."

The old man took it, flipped it open, and glanced at it. His dark eyes narrowed instantly.

Shock flashed across his eyes.

Suddenly looking up at Hua Bin, she asked, "You mean this was drawn by that teenage girl?"

"It's absolutely true. We watched her draw the model with our own eyes. Teacher, this Sheng Qian is very talented." He had to admit, he was jealous of Sheng Qian's talent.

The old man watched for a while longer, then secretly took a breath.

“However,” Hua Bin suddenly said, “my people saw her enter Ju’s hardware processing factory, and Grandma Ju’s past achievements were almost on par with Professor Chen’s.”

The old man frowned, his face darkening as he heard a surname he didn't want to hear: "Going in and out of that processing plant, there seems to be something fishy going on. I believe in a teenage girl's ability to copy, but it's absolutely impossible for her to design something so novel and sophisticated."

The old man and Granny Ju were competitors in their early years. Later, Granny Ju withdrew from the team due to some issues and took Ju Baifeng to the county town to set up a hardware processing factory.

The actual processing plant was probably created to cultivate Ju Baifeng.

Unfortunately, Ju Baifeng didn't have the same talent as Grandma Ju.

There's no way to lift it up.

Hearing the old man say this, Hua Bin nodded in agreement: "I also found it strange, so I brought these things over to verify. Professor Chen is familiar with Grandma Ju and can tell at a glance who made them."

The old man frowned again, staring at the drawing in his hand, and shook his head: "I haven't seen her for nearly twenty years. That is, I haven't seen any of her work since more than ten years ago. I'm not sure if this is her work or not."

But in his heart he was already convinced that it was made by the old lady.

How could a teenage girl possibly create such a perfect work of art?

If Sheng Qian were here, she would definitely be secretly laughing.

Her paintings are indeed perfect, but she has altered many details. If the other party can recreate them, using them will definitely cause a major incident.

Or perhaps it simply cannot be manufactured.

How can something that is incomplete function?

"Teacher, what do we do now? Should we hand in these drawings?"

“Meng Sui, you don’t need to go to the county anymore, just stay here,” the old man suddenly said to his student.

Meng Sui nodded.

His teacher said he was going back to Xuan City to find inspiration, but during this time, his teacher had no intention of putting pen to paper at all.

Because the teacher encountered a problem that could not be understood in a short period of time.

His teacher, however, couldn't wait any longer.

That's why Meng went down to find out what was going on at home.

Unexpectedly, they ran into Zhang Shunlin, who was asking around with blueprints, and that's how they got targeted.

Zhang Shunlin was clever; despite being injured, he managed to escape their pursuit and is currently hiding somewhere.

Seeing this, Hua Bin left first.

*

Sheng Qian returned to Hua Bin's residence with the bodyguard who drove her there. After taking a nice shower, she went straight to sleep.

They didn't take the people in the house seriously at all.

This left everyone feeling rather frustrated.

Because of Hua Bin's instructions, Sheng Qian had to be sent to the processing plant again the next morning.

So these people are going to serve Sheng Qian.

Sheng Qian wasn't doing nothing while living there.

She found Ju Baifeng as soon as she entered the factory and followed him to see the parts that were being made that day.

If they pass the test, we'll make hundreds more.

"I have something to take care of here, so I'll go around to the back. I'll trouble you to keep an eye on the people in front, Mr. Ju."

"You're going out?" Ju Baifeng frowned. "What exactly are you doing?"

"It's a private matter," Sheng Qian said, so Ju Baifeng didn't press further.

"I'll have someone keep an eye on the people outside, but can you manage on your own?" Ju Baifeng wanted to keep Sheng Qian around for long-term cooperation; he couldn't afford for anything to happen to her.

Sheng Qian said, "If all goes well, I'll be back soon."

Sheng Qian left from the back.

The people who were watching the factory from the parking lot ahead did not notice Sheng Qian leaving from another direction, and continued to keep their eyes fixed on every move at the factory gate.

*

Sheng Qian's departure went smoothly.

At Hua Bin's residence, she found some clues and overheard some things from the bodyguards who weren't very discreet.

Sheng Qian followed the route they had taken earlier and searched downwards.

Her eyes, as deep as the night, keenly searched for any suspicious traces.
