Monet turned his head and asked
"By the way, little female, what's your name?"
Guo Xiaoxiao replied
My name is Guo Xiaoxiao.
"OK"
Then he addressed the crowd.
"Yudora, Abby, Kelly, you three are the oldest females in our tribe. What do you think, should one of you take care of Guo Xiaoxiao?"
Guo Xiaoxiao was secretly delighted. "Great," she thought, "it's more convenient to live with a female. It's better than living with Mikeson, who's like a ticking time bomb."
"Me~~~"
The three older females raised their hands at the same time.
How kind-hearted they are, willing to raise orphans. It seems they're not entirely useless except for their ugliness. "Look at them, ugly on the outside but kind on the inside," Guo Xiaoxiao thought with satisfaction, a feeling of goodwill welling up within her for the three older females.
Then, I heard...
"Mother, you must let her live in our cave. We brothers are all counting on you."
Several orcs surrounded their mothers, chattering amongst themselves, their calculations so overheard that everyone present could hear them.
"The chieftain can give it to me; I have experience raising female cubs."
"Chief, you can't be biased! There are plenty of male beasts; she won't go hungry."
"Chieftain~~ I'll raise it."
"My baby has great stamina."
My family has many animal hides from our caves.
"Shut up, everyone knows you cubs are weak."
"What did you say, Eudora?"
What's the point of saying it?
What started as male beasts vying for Guo Xiaoxiao has now turned into a battle among female beasts. Many of the females are still single, so naturally they're thinking about their own offspring.
The situation became tense again.
Guo Xiaoxiao drew a few black lines on her face; she was indeed unreliable.
Miksen couldn't contain his anger. He hadn't even agreed yet, so why couldn't she live with him? He didn't care; he was going to take Guo Xiaoxiao away. He could always leave the tribe and find somewhere else to live. With his abilities, he wouldn't let Guo Xiaoxiao starve.
Monet interrupted them, tilting his head back as he spoke.
"Stop arguing, ask Guo Xiaoxiao where she wants to stay, she can decide."
The arguing females quieted down, each filled with anticipation, hoping to be chosen.
Guo Xiaoxiao would rather die than go to their place, she blurted out.
