Randy didn't show it, but when he learned that Arthur and the others had suffered a backlash from their Beast Marks and their star ratings had dropped, his immediate reaction was that Guo Xiaoxiao was dead, not that she had voluntarily ended their partnership.
He was relieved to learn that the leader of the stray beasts had become Guo Xiaoxiao's partner.
He even felt a little smug; driven by his animalistic instincts, he was somewhat pleased that Arthur and the others had become crippled.
This made him feel he had enough reason to pursue Guo Xiaoxiao.
Randy: "I have an idea."
Abir: "Huh?"
Randy revealed a murderous intent: "The weakest among them is Yili, the wolf king of the same clan. Kill him first to deter the other beast kings."
Abir frowned: "That's not a good idea. If we kill Yili, they'll definitely unite to attack us, and our situation will be even more dangerous then."
"They won't unite; they're weak and will back down to maintain their position."
Abier advised, "Randy, think it over carefully. What if we kill them and they not only don't back down but attack us even more fiercely?"

Some of the wolves had long harbored resentment towards him. The wolves of Yushan ate and drank well every day, while they felt utterly aggrieved.
