Finally finding an opportunity, she threw a pebble to stun one of the fish, then quickly plunged into the clear river water to swim, reaching out to catch it and holding it in her arms.

Mikel followed her example, jumping into the water to catch the fish. His movements were clumsy, but he was very focused, each splash creating a spray of water.
In no time, Guo Xiaoxiao had caught three or four, and Mikel put the rest on the shore.

"That's enough! Haven't you ever fished before? You couldn't possibly catch all of this."
