Chapter 307 The Death of Blue: Making a Wish to Have Them Die with Him Leads to Misfortune

Qianye submerged herself underwater and saw Blue swimming headfirst downwards, the blood gushing from his abdomen blurring Qianye's vision.

He's not from the ocean, is he trying to kill himself by learning to dive like me?

Blue reached into the water and rummaged around for something, then forcefully pressed a rock down into the water.

A whirlpool formed, and an underwater force pulled Blue in. He struggled desperately, but the whirlpool below grew increasingly rapid!

Blue felt suffocated, something he had never experienced before. In that moment, he suddenly realized that he was really going to die.

He wasn't afraid of death, but the feeling before he died terrified him—a fear worse than death.

His only wish was to take those who hurt him with him.

As he was about to lose consciousness, a slight smile appeared on Bru's lips. With a single thought, all things came into being.

The stone he pressed into the water unleashed boundless power, and even Qianye was not spared, instantly enveloped within it.

When Qianye calmed down, he was already on the cold ground. He lay on the shore, soaking wet, his chest heaving violently.

It was quiet all around, and there was nothing there.

Qianye sat up, brushed the dirt off his clothes, and stood up, looking around.

"Linzhi, Little Linzhi"

He called out several times, but no one answered. He started to panic. Had he been dragged underground by a whirlpool? Where was he?

"Cough cough cough"

The coughing sound came from Linzhi.

Linzhi, Guo Xiaoxiao, Guo Zhen, and other provincial residents were all dragged into the whirlpool. They noticed something was wrong with the lake as soon as they reached the shore; a large whirlpool had suddenly formed, sucking all the water towards the bottom.

Since everyone was standing on the shore, they weren't too close, so they let their guard down.

Linzhi was very worried, fearing that Qianye might not be able to come up. Although he could breathe underwater, what if he was ambushed?

As everyone quietly observed, a human hand shaped like water emerged from the surface and pulled everyone in.

I've never seen anything like this before. Is it a lake monster? It can even reach out and grab people!

The resistance only enraged them further, until finally, they were all dragged into the water.

What's under the water?

Amidst the churning and spinning of the world, everyone found themselves in an underground space.

The light was dim, but on the rock face overhead, as if sensing someone's presence, tiny points of starlight appeared, flickering like fireflies.

The surrounding environment was illuminated, making it clear what the situation was.

A very flat ground, a sacrificial site, with nothing around it, but the ground is covered with various totems, and in the very center is a raised stone tablet.

The stone tablet was extremely smooth, as if it had been formed over countless years, and was carved with intricate patterns.

What on earth is going on here? Everyone looked around in bewilderment.

Guo Xiaoxiao and the others supported each other and barely managed to gain a foothold.

Xiaoxiao

"It's Arthur's voice," Guo Xiaoxiao answered immediately.

"Here"

Everyone was gathered together, all peaceful, except for Blue, who lay on the ground smiling, as if he had avenged himself.

If he dies, how are they going to get out? They're underwater, and there are no doors or ladders around them; there's nowhere to go.

Guo Zhen: "He triggered some kind of mechanism, trapping us all below. No wonder he was so confident when he saw people coming; it was a fight to the death, if we couldn't escape, he'd take us all with him."

Ji Xing felt a little ashamed. It seemed like he was the one who caused this mess, but how could he explain the past?

Any orc would want to unify the Northern Hemisphere, and besides, he's powerful, though his methods are a bit brutal; he needs to establish his authority.

"I'm so sorry, Xiaozhi, it's all my fault."

Lin Zhi wasn't angry. It's all about cause and effect; you reap what you sow. Ji Xing had offended far too many people, but thankfully, not everyone was as sincerely seeking revenge as Bru.

Orcs generally accept the law of the jungle; when defeated, they blame themselves for being weak and strive to become stronger, rather than harboring hatred.

Ian did feel anger after losing, but not as extreme as Blue's. He was willing to risk his life to drag Ji Xing down with him; it was more than just hatred.

Linzhi: "It's alright, let's hurry and find an exit. Staying underground for a long time will make food and water a problem. If we run out of air and suffocate, we'll die a much worse death than him."

Guo Zhen: "There must be an exit, otherwise how could these orcs know so much about it, run to the bottom of the lake and bring us down? And what pulled us down? It was like a magical hand dragging us down."

Then Guo Zhen took out a small flashlight: "Let's look on the rocks over there first. Feel around for buttons. While we look for buttons, I'll study the totems on the ground."

Arthur stared at Guo Zhen for a while, quite interested in the little glowing gadget in her hand. It lit up with a single press—so convenient!

Carlos: "Let's all search together. If you want to live, hurry up!"

Ian, with several leopard beasts, began searching along the rock face.

Guo Xiaoxiao and the others were also searching for an exit, but after some searching, they found nothing.

Qianye said that they hadn't been able to figure out anything about totems either.

"I saw an orc press down on a rock underwater, I guess it's this big rock. Maybe we should try pressing it too?"

I've been looking for him for ages, why is he only telling me now?

Guo Zhen shone her flashlight on him twice, blinding Qianye.

"You should have told us from the beginning, why did it take so long?"

Qianye said embarrassedly, "I just remembered."

Everyone was speechless. Okay, so they gathered around the blank stone tablet to examine it. It was smooth and there was nothing there; there were no mechanisms.

Linzhi: "Let's find someone to jump up and press it down."

Ji Xing took the lead, climbing up the stone tablet and using his body strength to press it down.

Then... nothing happened!

"Strange, I can't press it."

"Try other methods."

Guo Zhen tapped the stone tablet several times with a flashlight, but the tablet remained unmoved.

The orcs around the stone poked it with their fingers, and even patting it didn't work.

After a moment of silence, Linzhi said, "Sigh, what's going on?"

Guo Xiaoxiao felt a little discouraged. She placed her hands on the stone tablet, lay down to rest, and her mind was filled with thoughts of...

System is powered on... System is ready... System connection successful...

Huh? Before it just said the system was opening, now it's saying a couple more things. Guo Xiaoxiao waited a while, but the system didn't respond.

I was still wondering what happened. Why did it suddenly stop after just three sentences?

The stone tablet began to shake. Guo Xiaoxiao, startled, jumped and hid behind Arthur. Arthur, also taken aback by the sudden turn of events, protected Guo Xiaoxiao and retreated.

Guo Zhen: "Who touched what?"

Lin Zhi said, "I don't know. Judging from the frequency of the tremors, something underground is moving."

Everyone was on high alert, guarding against any possible emergencies.

"Bang bang~ bang bang~~"

The stone trembled repeatedly, and Carlos hurriedly shouted, "Get back! Get back!"
