Xiaoxiao, I like you.
These were words Arthur hesitated to utter after much deliberation. He had asked the beastmen who were into mating relationships this morning; they said that you have to frequently tell a female that you like her for her to remember you.
Originally, he intended to go back to his room and try it out on Guo Xiaoxiao, but then he stumbled upon this scene with Cang Jue.
Guo Xiaoxiao was stunned; she hadn't expected Arthur to suddenly say something like that.
Arthur was somewhat uneasy. He had spent his entire life studying how to become stronger, and hadn't spent any time studying females. He preferred action to words.

Guo Xiaoxiao pursed her lips. She had never thought of it that way before. She believed that for absolute fairness, every male would favor her. If she were in charge, that would be true fairness.
From Arthur's perspective, it felt like he was being stripped of his power. Think about it: initially, Arthur was in charge of everything, and then suddenly, without any warning, he was taken over completely, without any transition period or handover.
So Arthur always had the illusion that he had done something wrong and was being punished by Guo Xiaoxiao. Carrying this feeling, he became very sensitive. Sometimes, even running laps in anger couldn't calm him down.
Guo Xiaoxiao used to be afraid of him, but now she feels indifferent instead of afraid.

Besides, this is his male partner. Since they're both orcs, physical altercations are inevitable. Without strong control, things will get chaotic. So, she thinks his methods are wrong? He should use his words more.
The main priority is winning over the females. Arthur felt he had gone a bit off-topic. Guo Xiaoxiao currently held the management rights, so he wouldn't fight for them; he needed to win back the heart of the young female in front of him first.
Arthur: "Do you want me to learn from Cang Jue how to communicate with you?"
A scene flashed through Arthur's mind: Cang Jue standing to the side, smiling as he spoke to Guo Xiaoxiao. At first, Guo Xiaoxiao had a cold expression, but soon she was amused by Cang Jue and burst into laughter.
Guo Xiaoxiao shook her head. "No way! Turning Arthur into a second Cang Jue who ambushes people every day? Forget it. We can just keep Cang Jue as the only one who's constantly in heat."
"Then what should I do? I've made up my mind. From now on, I'll interfere less in tribe affairs and spend more time with you every day."
Guo Xiaoxiao didn't want Arthur to give up his career for love, as his dream was to build a successful career. Wouldn't that make him love-obsessed? It was too unsuitable for him.
"Arthur, listen to me carefully."
Arthur immediately stared at Guo Xiaoxiao with a serious expression.
Guo Xiaoxiao smiled with satisfaction as she saw Arthur being well-behaved and obedient.
Next, it'll be up to her to make things up...
"You know, I've liked you from the very beginning. I was always trying to seduce you in the Black Tooth Tribe, doing things that were always right in front of you. Have you forgotten?"
Holy crap… ugh… Guo Xiaoxiao paused before continuing.

"Back in the Yushan tribe, Monet and Alo wouldn't let you in. I almost let you go, didn't I..."
After saying that, Guo Xiaoxiao kept looking around, worried that someone might have overheard her.
Arthur was puzzled
What are you looking at?
Guo Xiaoxiao: "Nothing, just mosquitoes." Then...
"Isn't that enough to prove I like you? In my heart, you're the one I like the most. They...they...uh...none of them are as important as you. If I had to rank the places in my heart, you'd be number one, irreplaceable forever."
