Guo Xiaoxiao remained calm and composed, not wanting them to suspect anything, but she couldn't help glancing at Arthur behind her. He seemed perfectly normal; it was his loss of control, and she, too, bore some responsibility for not being able to push him away.
She pried open Cang Jue's hand, which was gradually becoming unruly.
"Stop fooling around, we're not mating tonight, I'm going to rest for the night."
Cang Jue tapped her nose.
"See? I told you so! I knew you two would go to the grove to be alone with him, and he messed up the order. So you stopped him from mating for ten days or so, right?"
"I already said we didn't mate. In the woods, I... got... lost."
Guo Xiaoxiao's excuses seemed weak and feeble. She had already planned how to communicate with them, but when faced with those three pairs of mournful eyes, she found it hard to speak.
Cang Jue's words were all fine, but the way Mickson and Randy looked at her, as if they were about to cry, made her feel very bad.
It's easier to bear if Cang Jue speaks his mind and makes a few jokes; staring at someone in silence is much more stressful.

Guo Xiaoxiao glared at Cang Jue
"You want to see me go berserk?"
"Alright, alright, I'll stop teasing you. Let's get back to what we were talking about. I've finished speaking, now it's your turn, you two. See? These females are getting harder and harder to control."
Cang Jue didn't dare to back down now, lest he truly anger Guo Xiaoxiao.
Guo Xiaoxiao still couldn't admit it. She took a deep breath and said calmly...
"Let me explain, Arthur and I just went out to take a shower and got lost..."
Arthur, arm in arm behind him, slowly spoke.
"They mated, that's it."
Uh… he admitted it?? Guo Xiaoxiao turned around and stared at Arthur in disbelief.
Arthur remained calm and composed, seeing nothing wrong with his actions. He had already said what he had done; what could they possibly do?
Why did he say it out loud when he had already rehearsed his story with the two of them? It's not like he was driven to the brink. They couldn't do anything to him if he didn't say it. What exactly happened?
Are you trying to stir up trouble when things aren't chaotic enough?
Carlos: "Xiaoxiao, you don't need to lie to us. We can tell they're all your males. It's fine if you let him go ahead, but it's too dangerous for him to mate in the woods. Next time, just stay in the room and close the door."
Carlos was actually quite unhappy, but he wouldn't reveal his true feelings; those three were definitely going to get restless.
All Carlos needed to do was say nice things and make his presence known when they were being noisy; he had found a new shortcut.
It was during the few dozen days that Cang Jue took Guo Xiaoxiao away that she truly came to a realization: the existence of five males was an unchangeable fact, so she had to be the one he loved most.
Of these four, Arthur has intelligence but lacks emotional intelligence, Cang Jueguang always complains about taking advantage, Mikson is willing but unable to do so, and Randy is just a complete taciturn guy.
Among them, Carlos had all the advantages of timing, location, and people, using a strategy of feigned retreat to gain control over the females.
Guo Xiaoxiao turned her head speechlessly, awaiting the storm.
Surprisingly, Randy Mickson said nothing, and Cang Jue only glanced at them. The moment they returned, they knew everything.
So what if Arthur admits it? It'll just lead to more arguments and more unrest, ultimately angering the female, and nobody's benefiting.
Mickelson: "Stop talking, come and eat the meat, it's getting cold."
Randy looked away, his expression a mix of anger and suppressed emotions. He was clearly in a bad mood. Five males meant five men; how could he possibly be in a good mood?
Guo Xiaoxiao nodded quickly and went along with it.
"Okay, okay, let's eat meat!"
Arthur: "You must be hungry. Eat more."
Haha, things took the opposite turn; Carlos sat down with them, and the plan fell through.
Guo Xiaoxiao sat down at the table and started eating quietly. Only Carlos kept talking to her and even made her soup.
Even Arthur didn't say much. He didn't like being questioned or forced to admit his mistakes. Originally, he had wanted to do what Guo Xiaoxiao suggested and try to cover it up, but that probably wouldn't work; he couldn't get away with it at all. It was better to just admit it openly.
Guo Xiaoxiao could feel the low pressure hanging over her head while eating, which was even more pronounced above Mickson and Randy. She couldn't mate tonight; her body really couldn't take it.
However, after finishing their meal, they were quite self-disciplined. They left two people to stay with them while they slept, and the rest went back to the third floor. They didn't dwell on the ranking anymore, which is a bit unusual. Have they really come to terms with it?
Their current reactions don't seem like their usual selves, so Guo Xiaoxiao wouldn't be foolish enough to ask.
As long as they get along peacefully, it's fine if they're a little distant. Later, you can slowly talk to them and try to persuade them. That will do the trick.
Three days passed peacefully. Mickson, who was supposed to mate the next day, didn't bring it up again. Guo Xiaoxiao assumed they were concerned about her health and that's why they didn't mention it.
