That made sense, and everyone relaxed and started eating the melons and fruits.
Just as the females were sitting together eating, playing, chatting and laughing, a stick fell from above, nearly hitting one of them.
"Oh no, it fell down!"
The female was startled because the stick had fallen nearby; if it had hit her, her head would have been split open.
Everyone looked upwards, only to see the woman struggling to climb out of the inner room with the child in tow, the stick she had thrown down with her last bit of strength.
She crawled with extreme difficulty, her lips were purple, and she could only open and close her mouth without making a sound. She wanted to call for help but couldn't. Daiwa lay on the ground, barely alive.
Guo Xiaoxiao couldn't help but frown. What was going on now? She went in so confidently, and came out looking disheveled.
"Something must have happened. Let's go up and check it out."
One of the females didn't want to get involved in this, making excuses and saying that someone had to take the lead, and no one wanted to go.
Irina: "If we don't send someone up soon, she'll die. There are two other females going in with her too."
Irina sounded very anxious, but she didn't take any action, though she did express that she was very worried.
Amansa: "Xiaoxiao, you're the high priest, you decide who goes up. Should we go up or not?"
They couldn't ignore it any longer. If a few females suddenly died, Arthur wouldn't be able to explain himself, since they were the ones who were tasked with assigning the males to attack the female tribe.
They said it would be fine with Guo Xiaoxiao's protective shield, but they're still inside the shield. If a few people die, that would be a huge problem.
"Sasha, Irina, come with me upstairs and let's see what's wrong."
Irina suddenly seemed hesitant, and said...
"I'll go to Monet's room to get some herbs, so I can treat my injuries quickly in case of any emergencies."
Guo Xiaoxiao: "Okay, go ahead."

Guo Xiaoxiao, along with Amansa and another female named Linda, immediately ran up to the fifth floor. Because they ran, they were panting heavily.
When they stood at the doorway, what came into view was...
A Kasha was lying on a mat, two were sleeping on the floor, and one was lying outside the door. The room was simply furnished; there were no large stones used to make a stone table, but there was a small basin for drinking water.
But there's enough space for all of Kai'Sa's males to live in.
"Here you come to die again? I'll grant your wish, all of you come!"
"Kasha's legs haven't grown back yet, how could she possibly take them down?"
Guo Xiaoxiao ignored Kaisa's roar, squatted down and turned Diva around to check on her. She saw that Diva's eyes were open but she was dazed, her face was flushed, and she was clearly on the verge of unconsciousness.
"Daiwa, Daiwa"
Amansa called out, hoping to wake her, but it was to little avail.
"Xiaoxiao, what's wrong with her?"
"She's likely been poisoned, and quite severely at that. Being unconscious like this, her chances of survival are probably slim."
As Guo Xiaoxiao explained, she checked on the woman's condition. For some reason, Guo Xiaoxiao suddenly thought of scorpion venom.
Scorpion venom can paralyze the entire body and eventually lead to death. Arthur used it on Mikkelsen and Cang Jue, and Guo Xiaoxiao also used it on Carlos.
Both of them were poisoned.
They were completely weak, but still conscious; they just couldn't move.
Amansa: "Oh, so much poison! That can kill people! How do we cure it? We don't know how. Xiaoxiao, do you?"
Linda: "Kasha was lying there. She poisoned her. What did she use?"
Everything remains a mystery; we'll have to wait until they're brought back to life. Kasha must have used some other method.
Kasha's method was simple, all thanks to Batur, a meticulous and careful person.
Kasha's health really couldn't afford any more accidents; if she died, all the males would suffer. So, a small mechanism was set up in the room, within Kasha's reach.
As Arthur's former right-hand man, I learned a lot from him.
The mechanism is located on the ceiling. If Kasha presses the wire, it will be severed by the bone knife, causing the scorpion venom contained within to spill out.
Caught off guard, Diva grabbed the stick and tried to strike Kasha, but the scorpion venom knocked her down, contaminating her tongue and eyes.
Even though scorpion venom is precious, and there's only a tiny amount—just a fine powder—it's enough to keep them busy for a long time.
Furthermore, since they are females, their endurance is not as strong as that of males. This slight difference alone is enough to kill them, and they wouldn't be able to hold out for long.
Guo Xiaoxiao looked up; she couldn't remember where Monet's room was either. She hadn't been there often enough, and without anyone to guide her, she couldn't find it.
Irina often studied medicine with Monet, so she should know how to treat it, right? Healing magic isn't like antidote magic, it can't be used.
"Don't waste your energy, you can die with them! Come on, come here, I'm not afraid of you!"
Amansa: "I tell you, you're just so annoying. You're already like this, and you'd kill me if I just said a few words to you?"
Kaisa: "She deserved to die because she came down with a stick. Otherwise, I wouldn't have killed her. She deserved it."
Kaisa looks even fatter than before due to years of inactivity; her bloated body resembles a ball.
But her body was very clean. Kasha used to dislike bathing, and Batur thought that because she was inactive and it was summer, she would smell bad, so he would often wash her with clean water.
Amansa: "You know your physical condition perfectly well, yet you still act like this. What's wrong with saying a few words? You were wrong in the first place, weren't you? Why are you afraid of what others say when you've done something wrong?"
Linda: "You poisoned them, didn't you? Their hands and feet are gone, and you're still so vicious. Quickly, cure them all!"
