They were practically right at the door. At first, Shi Lin thought they were Irina's suitors trying to seduce his females, which he certainly wouldn't allow, and he almost chased them away.
After some questioning, it was discovered that they were either from Mickson's faction, people Cang Jue had summoned, or people sent by Randy—a variety of groups.
He seamlessly switched between modes all day long, making Irina seem like a thief.
This is really too much of a bullying, not giving him any face at all.
If Shi Lin hadn't been mindful of the fact that they were all clan leaders and he had to give them some face, he would have been furious and started beating them up.
