He sighed, realizing he'd gone a bit too far; Cang Jue's earnest assurances...

Guo Xiaoxiao shyly punched his chest, her demure and obedient demeanor making Cang Jue utterly enamored with her.
Back at the cabin, Cang Jue ran to the threshing ground to get the roasted meat of the large black beast, which was a wild boar. He tore off a piece and handed it to her.
"Try my cooking."
Guo Xiaoxiao took the meat, took a bite, and found it surprisingly delicious. It tasted different from the roasted meat from the Miken tribe; the Cangjue meat was more fragrant and had a salty flavor.
