There have been banditry incidents before, but based on past experience, the women who were abducted would never return.
But last night, Zhao Di and Zhu Dongxi returned to the village one after the other.

The Zhang couple were heartbroken.
All they remembered was that their son had said he was going to Taoyuan Village to visit his cousin Dongxi. Now their son was dead, although everyone agreed that he must have been killed by bandits.
But they still took their anger out on Zhu Dongxi.
After all, if his son hadn't come looking for that little brat, he wouldn't have died here!
Zhu Dongxi's parents naturally protected their daughter and started arguing with her brother and sister-in-law.
It looked like things were about to escalate into a major conflict.
Zhu Dongxi spoke up, directly blaming Liu Yingying and her daughter for Zhang Tongxi's death.

They had already agreed on the price: a full half string of silver!
Zhao Di was worried that Liu Niang had not returned for a long time.
The Zhang couple grabbed her and interrogated her about the cause of their son's death, demanding an explanation.
Ma Qiumei and Lü Sufeng held her tightly, trying to get the servants to take her away as soon as possible.
Outside the courtyard, a crowd of villagers gathered to watch the spectacle, but not a single person stood up to say a word for the poor little girl.
Only the brothers Zhu Jiawang and Zhu Jiafu, armed with brooms and sticks, tried to stop the adults.
"You bastards, let go of my sister!"
But Zhang Baoqing kicked them both to the ground, yelling, "If your family doesn't give me an explanation today, I'll make you little bastards pay for my son's life!"
Zhao Di retorted indignantly, "Your son was killed by bandits, what does that have to do with us?"
However, as soon as he said that, he was slapped across the face by Zhang Baoqing's wife, Liu Lanju.
"Smack!"
"You little whore, you dare to argue?"
"Dongxi said it herself, she saw with her own eyes that it was you and your stepmother who killed my son!"
"I didn't!" Zhao Di argued, feeling both wronged and angry.
But no one will believe what she says; people tend to only believe what they want to believe.
During the scuffle, Zhao Di fell to the ground and received several more slaps, causing blood to flow from the corner of her mouth...
Liu Yingying pushed through the crowd and saw this scene as soon as she entered the door. She was furious and threw the things in her hand to the ground with a "thud".
"Stop it, all of you!"
The sudden shout startled everyone, and they all turned to look at her.
How dare Liu Shi come back?
"Liu Niang!"
"You're finally back!" The three children exclaimed as if they had seen a savior.
