Chapter 234 Children's Friendship

The wolf cub seemed to have spotted the little monkey and started howling even louder!

The little monkey looked at the two figures walking out of the mist with a hint of surprise.

He had considered countless possibilities, but he never imagined that Pingping and An'an would be the first to come looking for him.

"Here!" An'an saw the little monkey and became very excited. "Brother, he's here!"

Faced with their stares, the little monkey turned its face away, unsure of how to react.

An'an put the wolf cub down, squatted down in front of the little monkey, poked its cheek, and tilted her head, saying, "You're running around like that, being naughty! Your mother will worry!"

Her voice was soft and sweet, and when it reached the little monkey's ears, his heart trembled slightly.

He couldn't understand how this little girl could be so brave.

An'an then stopped beside the little monkey, adopting a somewhat hostess-like demeanor, and said coldly, "If you run away again next time, I won't come looking for you to go back!"

There won't be a next time...

The little monkey lowered its head, looking somewhat disappointed.

"Are you going to cry?" An'an stared at the little monkey with her big eyes, looking quite curious.

The little monkey immediately held back the tears that were about to well up in its eyes.

"Okay! Don't be sad. At worst, we won't kick you out anymore. We'll share some of the good food with you, okay?"

An'an is clearly only four or five years old, but she acts like an adult, coaxing a little monkey that is several years older than her.

She smiled sweetly, like a ray of sunshine piercing through the mist and shining on the little monkey.

Although Pingping was somewhat reluctant, she nodded in agreement with An'an.

The little monkey stared wide-eyed at the two siblings, moved its lips slightly, and then lowered its head again.

They had no idea that they could no longer stay at the Chen family's house and were about to leave!

Pingping looked at the increasingly dark fog and said with some worry, "If we don't go back soon, it will get dark!"

An'an didn't wait for the little monkey to agree or not, she reached out her little hand, grabbed the little monkey's hand and pulled it upwards, "Come on, there's meat to eat tonight! I'll give you mine... I'll give you half!"

She licked her lips as she spoke, and drool was practically dripping from her mouth!

The little monkey was amused by An'an and smiled.

An'an didn't know if it was because she was strong, but she actually managed to pull the person up!

She held the little monkey's hand in one hand and Pingping's hand in the other, following the wolf cub forward.

Soon, the three figures disappeared into the mist.
