Seeing the man trying to run away, Li Wei immediately called for his brothers, who leaped over to catch him.

Just as the man was about to escape by trickery, a young man leaped into the air and struck him directly.

The man looked up, his face filled with terror, and immediately two gleaming knives were placed against his neck.

He sat up, patted Wu Gousheng's trouser leg, and said, "Move aside!"
Wu Gousheng then stepped aside, allowing Liang Pengfei and Wan Qiqi to meet face to face.

Liang Pengfei didn't waste any more words with her. He raised his token and said, "I am Liang Pengfei, the head constable of Yunhe County. I have been ordered to come and invite Manager Wan to come over!"
A hint of surprise flashed across Wan Qiqi's eyes.
As she expected, there were government officials in the town.
If she guessed correctly, it should be the newly appointed county magistrate.
Although Wan Qiqi couldn't confirm who the new county magistrate was, she could sense that he probably didn't have any ill intentions towards her.
"Officer Liang, I..." Wan Qiqi took a step forward, her vision blurred, and her limbs went limp as if all the strength had been drained from her.
