Chapter 354 Spreading the News

Fang Ziming, unafraid of being laughed at, regarded her as an advisor.

Xie Xing might also do that!

Wan Qiqi searched around but couldn't find any trace of Chen Yongnian. Instead, she saw government officials and Ade, a guest from all directions, at the entrance.

"Gentlemen, it's cold outside, and I saw you've all been caught in the rain, so I specially brewed some ginger tea for you to warm up while it's hot," Ade said, and then had someone place the ginger tea on the table.

Steaming hot ginger tea is certainly appealing in this kind of weather.

The soldiers outside Xinglong Restaurant quickly gathered around, each holding a bowl of ginger tea.

Ade lowered his eyes slightly and said, "Looking at the sky, it might rain for a few more days. The officials guarding the gate are probably going to get into trouble."

Ade slapped his thigh and said, "Sir, what are you saying? We have more than one restaurant. There's no need to do this just because a new restaurant is opening!"

The man seemed to agree, nodded, and said, "I don't care whether it's related to you or not, just don't come near Xinglong Restaurant."

Ade nodded immediately, then sighed, "Alas, because of the Xinglong Restaurant incident, Bafanglaike has had no business for the past few days. When will we be able to find out the truth? If we continue to lose money, we'll be in big trouble!"

The constable thought for a moment and said, "Don't worry, it won't be long. We've already caught one and he's confessed to who's behind it all..."

Before he could finish speaking, another person inside interrupted him, "What are you saying! If you don't keep your mouth shut, you'll get yourself killed!"

"I was wrong, I was wrong, I won't say it anymore!"

As Ade listened to their conversation, his heart sank. He thought to himself, "Oh no! If they catch the middleman, I'm finished!"

Without asking any further questions, he hurriedly headed back.
