Chapter 508 Four Joys' Choice
At Xinglong Restaurant, everyone was engrossed in their work.
Si Xi returned from outside carrying a food box, attracting Chen Yongliang's attention.
"You didn't go to school today?"
The question startled Sixi for a moment, and she turned her face away and answered softly.
No one could hear what she said; they only watched as she hurriedly walked out with another food box, seemingly working even harder than before!
Chen Yongliang was completely baffled. He glanced at Liu Ji and said, "We don't seem to have offended her, so why does she seem to be ignoring us?"
“That’s normal. Sixi is a girl, so she doesn’t think the same way we do.” Liu Ji said, glancing at the accounts Chen Yongliang had registered. He sighed, shook his head, and said, “If you register like this, only you will be able to see the truth in the future.”
Chen Yongliang lowered his eyes and touched his nose, seemingly a little embarrassed about the matter, but a sly glint flashed in his eyes as he looked at the ledger controlled by Liu Ji.

Meanwhile, Wan Qiqi returned from outside and encountered Si Xi, a food deliveryman, on the way.
Before she could make any move, Sixi walked around her, seemingly trying to avoid her.

Before even reaching the study, they overheard a conversation between Xiao Liuzi and Zhu Chengye in the private room.
"Manager Zhu, how about giving Sixi a couple of days off? I've seen her working like crazy these past two days, as if she's trying to make up for all the hours she missed. If this continues, her health might not be able to take it!"
As Xiao Liuzi spoke, a hint of worry appeared on his face.
Instead of answering him directly, Zhu Chengye asked, "You two have a good relationship, do you know what happened to her these past two days?"
When this point was brought up, Xiao Liuzi couldn't help but sigh, looking quite serious.
He looked up at Zhu Chengye, seemingly wanting to say something but holding back, and then sighed.
Wu Gousheng watched from the doorway and figured that if Xiao Liuzi was facing Sister Qi, he would definitely have been knocked on the head!
Seeing that Xiao Liuzi hadn't said anything for a while, Wan Qiqi decided not to listen anymore and started walking forward.

Therefore, she quickly calmed down.
"It's the same, yet different." Zhu Chengye pondered for a moment and said, "Master Wan sought out countless famous doctors back then, but to no avail. However, if her grandmother could find a famous doctor, there might still be a chance to save her."
Wan Qiqi was about to ask why she didn't go look for her, but then she remembered Sixi's family situation and the old lady's condition, and thought that she was willing but unable to do so.
After discussing it for a while, the two decided to give Sixi a pension, which was considered a subsidy from the two employers to employees who were experiencing difficulties at home.
Si Xi was unaware of this and was still avoiding Wan Qi Qi because of not going to the girls' school, fearing that she would question him.

Who is this person? Why would they care about how a nobody like me chooses?
