Chapter 621 Feng Gan was manipulated
As the sun sets, the long street is bathed in a golden hue.
The four selected families left the pear garden and went their separate ways.
"Master, do you mean we've been selected? And we can be in charge of preparing the Xiao family's birthday banquet?"

If Wan Qiqi said this to others, some might believe it, but Chen Yongnian felt that Wan Qiqi just wanted to help Old Master Xiao fulfill a wish.
He was willing to support whatever Wan Qiqi wanted, as long as she guaranteed his safety.
"Is the county government busy? I feel like you've been coming home quite late lately," Wan Qiqi asked with concern.
“Many people have come from out of town, some to visit, and some to give gifts to Old Master Xiao…” Chen Yongnian wanted to say more, but then remembered that some things needed to be kept secret, and continued, “Yunhe County has become a mixed bag lately, so you need to be careful.”
"A mixed bag? You've even learned these words. Master Cao taught you well!" Wan Qiqi teased.

Wan Qiqi watched Chen Yongnian disappear into the crowd before turning around and seeing Feng Gan still talking to Feng Qing, so she walked over.

Feng Gan grumbled indignantly, then rolled his eyes when he caught sight of the approaching person.
