As he spoke, he handed the silver ingot back.
"Given?" Wan Qiqi looked at the accounts Zhu Chengye pointed to, her eyes flashing with surprise. "The Xiao family is incredibly generous; I doubt any other restaurant can match half of our spending!"
“What they need is fame. This is a small sum of money for them, not worth mentioning.” Zhu Chengye closed the ledger, glanced at Wan Qiqi’s neck, and laughed, “What? Planning to have another one?”
Wan Qiqi clutched her neck and gave an awkward smile. "I'm drunk, my head's a little foggy."
Zhu Chengye smiled and didn't continue the conversation. He changed the subject, saying, "Feng Gan has been working very hard at the restaurant these past few days. I wonder what he's up to."
"I'm afraid he's being forced to marry by some lover and is hiding in this restaurant!" Wan Qiqi said casually, but Zhu Chengye believed her.
"That's what I think too. He's offended more than just one or two people!" Zhu Chengye sighed and said, "Old Master Feng is so worried! His eldest son has turned out like this."
“No problem, there’s another one. If the first one is ruined, we can just create a new one!” Wan Qiqi grinned, then sighed, “However, how children turn out depends a lot on their parents. If they don’t have time to teach them, the result will be the same.”
Zhu Chengye nodded in agreement.

Zhu Chengye was shocked that Wan Qiqi would make such a bold comment about the Xiao family. He followed Wan Qiqi's lead and said, "When he was young, Old Master Xiao devoted all his attention to the court and neglected his children, which led to this result."
Finally, he asked, "And you? What are your plans?"
“Me? The same as always!” Wan Qiqi smiled. “They should learn to be independent and go to school. Wait a little longer, I will bring them to live with me, it’s not the right time yet.”
