"Xie Xing, what do you mean by that? I was just giving you an example. Do you really have something going on with her?" Xiao Huai seemed to have found something interesting and continued, "No wonder you help her in everything. So that's what you're thinking."
Upon hearing this, Xie Xing fell silent and sneered, "You only have an older sister, so naturally you don't know what it's like to have a younger sister."
"Sister?" Xiao Huai asked, puzzled. "You treat her like your sister?"
"Young Master Xiao is interested in married women?" Xie Xing looked up at Xiao Huai seriously. "Is it because all the women in the world have died out, that Young Master Xiao has developed wicked thoughts about women with children?"
Xiao Huai lost interest in Xie Xing's reaction and seemed somewhat exasperated, "I must be blind to look at this wicked woman."
"A bad woman? It seems Young Master Xiao has a story with her..." Xie Xing teased Xiao Huai again.
The two were pulling and tugging at each other, and it was hard to tell how much of their words were true.
In the distance, Wan Qiqi looked at the pavilion, curious about what the two were talking about, their expressions changing every now and then, like they were performing in a play.
She had no idea that she was getting herself into trouble while watching the drama unfold.
Look over there!
Aji pointed, and Wan Qiqi looked in that direction.
On the opposite bank, Zhou Wanting, accompanied by a woman, was also looking in the direction of Hexiang Pavilion.
Wan Qiqi recognized the person next to her; wasn't that Zhou Wanting's younger sister, Zhou Wanxiang?
Wan Qiqi and Aji couldn't hear what Xie Xing and Xiao Huai were saying, let alone the Zhou sisters who were standing further away!
