Chapter 654 Let's go together
"Your younger brother, Chen Molin?"
Zhu Lingshi looked surprised and then sized up Chen Molin for a while. "He doesn't look like Yongnian, but his eyes are somewhat similar to yours. Is he really from the Chen family?"
“No, he’s a younger brother I adopted.” Wan Qiqi said frankly, then smiled and added, “He’s quite skilled now! He’s been learning martial arts from someone who’s very good at it, and he just showed me the results of his training.”
Zhu Ling nodded in understanding, then moved closer to Chen Molin and said earnestly, "Molin! You've learned martial arts, so you must protect your sister well. People always bother your sister when she's doing business. If anyone bothers your sister, just punch them away."
As Zhu Lingshi spoke, she gestured a couple of times.
It was so soft and weak that it didn't look like boxing; it looked like sign language.
Chen Molin kept it in mind and nodded earnestly, "Okay, I will definitely protect my sister well!"
For him, apart from his master, the most important person was Sister Qi.
If it weren't for her desperate protection, he might have died on Lian Mountain long ago!
He will never forget this kindness.
Wan Qiqi is his only family member now, and the most important person to him, even more important than his master!
Hearing Chen Molin's assurance, Wan Qiqi smiled and said, "How about this, everyone come to my house for dinner tonight. I'll have someone pick up Pingping and An'an."
“Sure! I’ll come help you and I can even learn a thing or two from you. My son keeps asking why I never see your kids!” Zhu Lingshi agreed readily.
Chen Molin seemed somewhat hesitant.
Although his master let him out to play, he still had to practice his skills tonight.
But he really wanted to play with Pingping and An'an. They hadn't seen each other for a long time, and he wanted to show them what he had learned.
“Little monkey, don’t go back. Stay at my house, and your master won’t say anything!” Wan Qiqi said.
Why would Xie Xing prevent Chen Molin from contacting him?
Releasing Chen Molin was probably an attempt to win her over, to prevent her from siding with Fang Ziming.
Chen Molin thought about it and realized that made sense, so he replied, "Okay!"
Just two seconds later, he added, "I want to go back and tell my master."
"Okay, you can ask him if he's coming to eat, and tell your brother Yongnian to come back early after he's done with his work."
After giving her instructions, Wan Qiqi glanced at the sky.
It was getting late, and she needed to go back and deliver the message soon, otherwise it would be dark by the time Pingping and An'an arrived.
Zhu Lingshi followed Wan Qiqi back to her courtyard. When she saw the eagle perched in the tree, she was so frightened that she took several steps back.
"Sister-in-law, don't worry, it won't hurt anyone," Wan Qiqi said with a smile.
Zhu Ling listened with skepticism, took two steps forward, but was glared at by the eagle, which frightened her so much that she quickly retreated. "No, this thing is too fierce and dangerous. It loves to steal poultry!"
"This is An'an, whom my family found and raised since she was a kitten. She won't steal food or hurt anyone," Wan Qiqi said as she walked into the living room.
Zhu Lingshi, who was afraid of hawks, followed them inside, saying, "Why are you keeping these things? What if they hurt the children?"
“It wouldn’t dare.” Wan Qiqi found a pen and ink, lowered her head and began to write a letter, and said with a smile, “You don’t know, when An’an first brought it back, it was so arrogant! I don’t even know how An’an tamed it, I only know that it was terrified of An’an, and it didn’t even dare to make a sound when An’an tugged at its feathers.”
Zhu Lingshi found it hard to believe; how could this be?
"This eagle is quite clever. Although it recognizes An'an as its master, it knows that I am the one who feeds it, so it listens to me quite well."
Wan Qiqi waited for a while, and when the ink was half dry, she rolled up the note and walked out.
She tied the note to the eagle's leg, gently patted its back, and said, "Azure Feather, be good, go back to your master!"
Cang Yu: "..."
Despite being a peregrine falcon, it was treated like a carrier pigeon by Wan Qiqi.
It also wanted to be like Cangyu, running around with its master and eating lots of meat.
Unlike this woman, who uses it as a laborer every day.
With a flap of its wings, Cang Yu didn't even glance at Wan Qiqi before soaring into the blue sky.
It crossed mountains and rivers in search of its master.
Finally, I spotted a familiar figure in the familiar courtyard.
It descended and landed steadily.
An'an was stunned for a moment, then smiled and hugged Cangyu's head, nuzzling it twice, "Cangyu, my little darling, you're back? How is my mother?"
She released Cang Yu and began to examine him, finally spotting the note on his paw.
After taking the note, she left Cang Yu aside and went inside. "Brother, come quick, Mother has sent a letter!"
Pingping and Wu Choudan were doing their homework in the room when they heard the news. They dropped their pens and ran out as fast as they could.
The three children huddled together and spread out the letter.
Pingping knew the most characters among the three, and read them aloud one by one: "dog, leftover, bring, flat, flat, peace, peace, come, cloud, and, county..."
"Mother, let's go find her!" An'an realized and quickly ran towards the kitchen.
When Wu Gousheng heard the child say that a letter had arrived, he put down his work and went outside.
Both of them were in a hurry, and they ended up bumping into each other.
Seeing An'an fall backward, Wu Gousheng grabbed her clothes and picked her up.
"An'an, didn't I tell you not to walk so fast, or you'll bump into someone?" Wu Gousheng scolded in a low voice.
An'an wasn't afraid at all, and said with her head held high, "You're walking so fast too, that's not right either!"
Wu Gousheng was helpless.
He really couldn't control Sister Qi's children; they were all more self-righteous than him.
He sighed and then asked, "What did your mother say in her message?"
