Yu nodded, which was what many people had been hoping for.
The two sat in the carriage, chatting back and forth.
Outside the carriage, the wind and snow continued, and even intensified.
Wan Ziyan looked up at the heavy snowfall, his brows furrowed.
A coughing sound suddenly came from inside the house, and he immediately turned around and went inside.
The house was filled with the aroma of herbs, mixed with the scent of incense. It wasn't unpleasant, but it was rather strange.
Wan Ziyan poured a cup of hot tea, quickly walked to the bedside and sat down, "Father, let me help you sit up and have a cup of hot tea."
He placed the hot tea aside and gently helped the person on the bed sit up.
Master Wan sat up with Wan Ziyan's help and leaned against the bed frame.
His face was pale, his lips were the same color as the snow outside, and his eyes were dull and lifeless.
Wan Ziyan held the hot tea, blew on it gently, and then brought the cup to Wan Yuanwai's lips. "Drink slowly, be careful it's hot."
Master Wan drank a few sips of water from his hand, and his dry lips finally felt a little moist.

His voice was hoarse, like a broken bellows.
Wan Ziyan paused for a moment before nodding.
Master Wan lowered his head. "The snow has stopped, it's time for me to go!"
Wan Ziyan's eyes immediately reddened, and his hand holding the water glass trembled slightly. "No, you still want to see the spring scenery in the yard next year. I've planted many fruit trees. Next spring, the yard will be full of flowers, and in autumn, it will be full of fruit, all of which you love..."
"You know it's impossible, so why, cough cough cough..."
Perhaps due to the stirring of emotions, Master Wan coughed incessantly.
Startled, Wan Ziyan quickly patted him on the back and brought him some water. Once he calmed down, she fed him a couple of sips of water.
"Father, please don't say such discouraging things."
"What a pity, what a pity that it will take you three more years... Why don't you go back to the Wan family and be with your sister..."
Before he could finish speaking, Wan Ziyan interrupted, "You raised me for more than ten years, and I've been observing mourning for you for three years. What good will that do?"
Master Wan looked at Wan Ziyan, hesitated, and ultimately said nothing.
