Chapter 770 The Tang Family's Scheme
"Wan Qiqi, how can you be so unethical! You promised to help me make money, but you just handed the restaurant over to someone else!" Feng Gan complained.
He was enjoying fine wine with others when he was pulled to Xinglong Restaurant, where he saw that Zhu Chengye and Wan Qiqi owed him a disbandment note.
"If you want to continue, I have no objection. You can take the silver and continue investing in Xinglong Wine," Wan Qiqi said in a cold tone.
She looked serious and seemed to be in a bad mood.
Feng Gan, however, seemed not to notice and said, "You're not even at Xinglong Restaurant anymore, what am I supposed to invest in? You just want me to lose money, don't you?"
Wan Qiqi glanced at him but didn't say anything.
My withdrawal from Xinglong Restaurant might cause quite a stir, and there might even be people trying to sabotage it.
She wasn't worried about not being able to handle it herself; she was just afraid that Chen Yongnian, who was far away in Pinghe County, would be distracted if he knew about this and might be harmed by bad guys.
However, after thinking about it carefully, Wan Qiqi felt that Chen Yongnian was unlikely to easily believe what others said.
"Hey, are you out of your mind?" Feng Gan suddenly leaned close to Wan Qiqi, blinking his eyes rapidly.

"Move away, don't come any closer, your perfume smells awful."

He said this as he sat down opposite Wan Qiqi and stared at her.

Wan Qiqi rolled her eyes. "If you put all that effort into doing business, your dad definitely wouldn't say anything to you."

Wan Qiqi looked at Feng Gan with cold eyes and said in a cold voice, "Don't even think about it. This business is already taken. We won't add a second person; we'll find someone else!"
“I don’t agree with that. When it comes to understanding women’s minds, in Yunhe County, I’m second to none,” Feng Gan said proudly.
“I know that the owner of Vanilla Pavilion is Fang Luxue. She’s currently trapped in the Tang family’s house and can’t get out. How can she help you manage the shop? Unlike me, I have plenty of time…”
“You may have time, but whether you’re actually at the shop is another matter!” Wan Qiqi interrupted Feng Gan.
She glanced at Feng Gan and asked, "In the past few months at Xinglong Restaurant, apart from the opening day, have you been in charge of anything at the restaurant?"

"It's different here. You can bring your own things to give to the girls."
