Haitang thought that Dongfanglong liked pretty things, and that he particularly liked stones that were sometimes shiny.
If I find a pretty, reflective stone outside, I'll bring it back and put it on the table as a little gift for her. Haitang thinks that dragons are collectors in legends, and they like to collect treasures, especially shiny things.
"What do you plan to make with this stone?" Haitang asked Dongfang Long. When she had nothing to do at home, Haitang would sit next to Dongfang Long and watch him polish the stone.
"Make a small pool so people can wash vegetables," Dongfang Long said, looking at the crabapple tree. "Put water here..." like a basin or something.
As Haitang watched, she saw Dongfang Long tapping away little by little, and she felt a pang of sympathy. "It feels like this hurts a lot."
She tried to scare Dongfang Long's hand, but Dongfang Long's hand was clean and uninjured. Dongfang Long shook his head, "A kiss will make it stop hurting." Haitang looked at Dongfang Long and slapped him away.
She grabbed the other person's hand and examined it. When she saw that there were no blisters on the large hand, Haitang breathed a sigh of relief. "But the hand is really beautiful."
Haitang thought the other person's hands were really beautiful. Of course, when she put her own small hands on top of his, they were about half the size. Dongfang Long reached out and held Haitang's palm. When their fingers were intertwined, he pressed his other hand on the back of Haitang's head and kissed her.
"Tangtang..." Seeing the woman he liked in front of him, holding his hand, almost made his heart flutter.
Haitang blushed, feeling dizzy from Dongfang Long's kisses, and sat silently to the side. Dongfang Long was quite fast at polishing things; he had polished a mold in just half a day. Haitang and Dongfang Long sat at the doorway.
Then you see Changning return, carrying a little rabbit to find Guyue. Guyue frowns slightly at Changning's arrival, "Um, thank you, but I don't need it..."
"Why wouldn't I want it? I don't mean anything by it, I just wanted to give it to you." Looking at Gu Yue Chang Ning in front of her, Gu Yue looked at Chang Ning and pursed her lips.
"I have many family members and younger sisters to take care of, so I can't get married, even if I become famous." She was telling the truth.
There are infants crying for food at home, as well as some small females. If I get married, how will those females survive?
There are orcs in the house, but what can be done about them? Orcs are out all day long, and without an older female to take care of them, they will almost certainly live a miserable life.
Upon hearing this, Changning looked at Guyue in front of her. "I know." Changning nodded. "I didn't ask you to marry me right away. I can wait until you turn sixteen before I marry you."
Hearing this, Gu Yue was slightly taken aback. She still had six years left before she turned sixteen. By then, her family members would have grown up, and there would be even more important things to do.
She understood that she might come to Hong in a few days, and the Tiger Tribe couldn't let her remain unmarried forever. Under such circumstances, Changning's words were very tempting.
"Are you telling the truth?" Gu Yue asked. It wasn't that she liked Chang Ning, who was younger than her, but simply that she felt they could cooperate. Upon hearing this, Chang Ning nodded.
"Yes, I'm telling the truth. I like you. I can be sixteen or seventeen. My sister got married at seventeen." He was talking about Haitang. "Brother Xiaolong also got married at that age."
So there won't be any problems for me. I'm still young, and it won't be a problem if I set my sights on someone so early. When she heard this, Gu Yue looked at Chang Ning and said, "Okay, I promise you."
"I will become your female after you turn sixteen." This was a serious statement. At any other time, he would have to endure three years at most, but since he was with Changning, he had six years to prepare.
Hearing this, Changning became happy. "Yes, I agree. Here you go..." she said, and gave the little rabbit to Guyue. Guyue did not refuse when she looked at it.
“The little rabbit has babies. You can raise them. Just feed them some grass. Of course, be careful, as they are very mischievous and will dig holes to escape,” Changning said. Guyue nodded when she heard this.
Xiuxiu knew about Changning and Guyue's affair. Changning told Xiuxiu that when Xiuxiu was washing things at the well, "You said that little girl agreed?"
“Yes, I told her I would marry her when I’m sixteen.” As she spoke, Changning blushed. “Mother, I really like Guyue.”
“Hey…you little girl are smart. Fine…if you like it, then you’ll have to build the house yourself.” Xiuxiu said, and Changning nodded when she heard this.
Xiuxiu understood Guyue's little scheme, but she didn't expose it. Now that her son was helping, she was definitely going to help. Of course, that girl had to genuinely want to be her son's female companion. If not... she wouldn't stand for it.
Xiuxiu knew perfectly well the relationship between Changning and Guyue. Guyue probably understood that she might be forced into a match if she came to Hong, so it was best to make a contract with her son now.
Putting aside everything else, her uncle has a good reputation in the tribe, her husband is doing well, and given what the female begonia has done, knowing that Guyue is her future daughter-in-law, no one would be so foolish as to offend her.
Shi Shui needed to know about Gu Yue's situation. Upon hearing this, Shi Shui said, "Since she's your wife, send her some things in the future. Of course... remember, child, you have to be smart about what you send, so she doesn't become ungrateful."
