The next day, Haitang got up and went out to check on things at the fabric shop. The silkworms were all hibernating, wrapped in silk, and no movement could be seen inside. Because of the silkworms' strike, the fabric shop was not open for business.
Haitang went inside and saw some scraps of cloth, about half the size of a piece, all placed not far away. Haitang picked them up and looked at them directly. People in the cloth shop wouldn't take things back.
