The surrounding orcs looked at the orcs of the Tiger Clan with a certain resemblance to them. At first, they thought the Tiger Clan members had been poisoned to death, but they didn't expect that the others hadn't died at all.
Not only were they not dead, but judging from their appearance, they were all strong and robust. They were not easy to bully from other tribes. With four or five hundred orcs in one tribe, other tribes would need at least that many more to defeat them.
The losses were so heavy that almost no one was willing to do it. This time, the orcs of the Tiger Clan told many people that their Tiger Clan had grown stronger and was no longer something these people could control.
Under such circumstances, everyone else could only stay quiet. When Haitang returned home, she started cooking delicious food, while Dongfang Chen simply held a teacup and drank the juice inside.
"Mommy, I want to eat pancakes." Dongfang Chen said as he looked at Haitang. His soft voice was so sweet it was almost melting. Haitang looked at the little guy.
"Okay, is it made of honey?" Haitang asked Dongfang Chen. Dongfang Chen immediately nodded, then lowered his head and dared not speak when his father came in, afraid that his father would tell him not to eat it.
Haitang looked somewhat helpless. "The little guy is really afraid of you." Haitang said to Dongfang Long. In the past three years, Dongfang Long has become more and more mature and has become more and more masculine. He is no longer the boy he used to be, but a real adult.
When he stands in front of you, he's like a mountain. His gaze towards Haitang is deep and affectionate, and sometimes, he gives Haitang a sense of security.
Dongfang Long bent down and hugged the little guy. "So, did you go for a run today?" Dongfang Long asked, looking at Dongfang Chen. Dongfang Chen looked a little pitiful when he heard this.
"Dad, why do I have to run?" Dongfang Chen didn't understand. He sat on Dongfang Long's neck with his father holding him, looking a little aggrieved. "Everyone else is playing at home, but I want to learn archery and running from you."
"Because if Daddy is gone one day, you have to protect Mommy. Little guy, do you know you're almost three years old?" Dongfang Long said, looking at Dongfang Chen.
Upon hearing this, Dongfang Chen blinked and looked at Dongfang Long. "Dad, you're not thinking of running away from home, are you? I haven't run away from home, but you actually want to run away from home and abandon Mom?" He looked at Dongfang Long with a shocked expression.
Dongfang Long felt a little helpless, but he only looked at the child. He was not going to run away from home, but... thinking about what was going to happen next, he couldn't help but feel uneasy.
Dongfang Long understood one thing: that matter had never truly subsided, and it would inevitably erupt one day. Although the Tiger Clan had become much stronger, unexpected events were still possible.
Under these circumstances, he wanted to protect Haitang and take care of her so that she could live a good life. If he were to cause Haitang to live in fear, he would choose to leave.
Holding the child, Dongfang Chen stood on a tree branch, blinking at Dongfang Long, "Little dumpling, listen up." Hearing this, Dongfang Chen nodded; the little dumpling was his life.
"From now on, if Dad isn't around, you have to listen to Mom and protect her. Do you understand?" Dongfang Chen looked at Dongfang Long when he heard this.
I don't know what's wrong? I feel like my dad is acting a little strange. "Yeah, I'll protect Mom." He clenched his fist as he said this. "I won't let anyone bully Mom."
Although he didn't know what had happened, Dongfang Chen would still obey because he loved his mother very much. Upon hearing this, Dongfang Long smiled and looked at Dongfang Chen.
When Haitang saw the father and son return, she was somewhat surprised, but she still asked directly, "Why did you and Xiaotuanzi run out?"
"I'm planning to have the little dumpling practice archery." When Haitang heard this, she looked at Dongfang Chen with a somewhat helpless expression.
"The little dumpling is still too young to handle weapons." Haitang disagreed. The little guy is still young and should play around. That's the right way.
Upon hearing this, Dongfang Long nodded, but then added, "Yes, I also think children should play and have fun. The problem is... Tangtang, this is not the time for children to play and have fun. Our tribe is developing rapidly, and the little beastmen should keep up with the pace."
Because both the females and humans were well-fed, after the females gave birth, both the young beastmen and the young females were almost twice as strong as the original females.
The same applies to physical fitness. Children who were seven or eight years old in the past could not compare with young females today. This is because they are healthier, eat better, and their offspring are more skilled.
Of course, there's another point: if the females are physically healthy, it will be of immense benefit to both the orcs and the human race as well as to themselves.
Haitang served the group some food, and after they finished eating, Dongfang Long took the little dumpling, Dongfang Chen, to shoot arrows. The small bow and arrows that Dongfang Chen used were made by Dongfang Long, and there were a few fine marks on his tender palms.
The standing position was only about five meters away. Dongfang Long sat watching Dongfang Chen shoot arrows. When his small body drew the bow and arrow, the bow and arrow were almost bigger than the little dumpling.
Because there was no way to extend the distance, Dongfang Long positioned his opponent on a higher ground. Under these circumstances, Dongfang Chen drew his bow and arrow.
"Not bad, but they're all in the red circles." The child is good at archery, although he hits the target but his accuracy is quite poor. He shoots about ten arrows a day.
