The elder was truly in love with his female. He died after giving birth to a baby female. When the baby female wanted to get married, it caused quite a stir. Although the elder was reluctant, he eventually agreed.
At this moment, Hu Shan was the elder's grandson, and it would be inappropriate for him not to meet under these circumstances. Hu Shan didn't have much of an impression of Huo Qiu when he first met him, but he only learned that the other party was Huo Qiu during their conversation.
In response to the Flower Tiger Clan's purpose, Huo Qiu smiled and said, "Thank you for your kindness. We feel that although this place is on the edge, we are doing quite well and have no intention of moving."
Huo Qiu sneered inwardly. "Don't even mention how well things are going now; it would never have been possible in the first place. You're kidding me..."
The Tiger Tribe members weren't fools. If they went to the Flower Tiger Tribe, they would be bullied to the point of having no way to survive, even though the Flower Tiger Tribe lived in the middle of the area.
However, they weren't so desperate that they needed to live under someone else's roof. Hu Shan wasn't surprised by Huo Qiu's refusal, but something was strange: "Your tribe has changed a lot."
"It's just a coincidence. It's not just our tribe that has changed a lot; other tribes have changed as well," Huo Qiu said with a smile when he heard this, while Hu Shan frowned.
Did Huo Qiu know that he was hiding something from her? "May I go and pay my respects to the elder?" Upon hearing this, Huo Qiu nodded.
The elder's youngest daughter was a child he had with his own female after he was hundreds of years old. He doted on this little daughter immensely and was reluctant to part with her after she left.
However... never mind, it's all in the past. Huo Qiu understood Hu Shan's intentions: the worship was a pretense, and his real goal was to uncover the secrets of the Tiger Clan tribe.
When Huo Qiu left, Hu Ya returned and told Hu Shan what he had found out. When Hu Shan heard this, he couldn't help but have a complicated look in his eyes.
"The Tiger Clan has really changed a lot." Under these circumstances, a beastman tribe of a few hundred people actually has such a good place, and no one has come to plunder it.
"But what is writing?" Tiger Mountain asked when he heard this. Tiger Tooth couldn't help but shake his head, he hadn't found out either.
"Never mind, we'll talk about it when we go to pay our respects tomorrow." Tiger Fang nodded when he heard this, and the Flower Tiger Clan went to pay their respects the next day.
As I entered the inner city of the Tiger Clan tribe, I couldn't help but swallow hard. There were children everywhere, and not just children, but also fruit trees.
"Why are there so many fruit trees in the tribe?" Tiger Mountain couldn't help but ask as he looked around.
"These were grown by the tribe itself." Hearing this, Hushan nodded, his eyes gleaming as he looked around, watching the female walking in thick clothes in the dead of winter.
This is different from what I remember. In my memory, the females don't come out in winter. This is still the case for the Flower Tiger clan. Also, looking at the human race not far away...
He stood rooted to the spot. The people there looked similar to orcs, all tall and strong, which was incredibly astonishing.
Tiger Tooth frowned and looked into the distance. "Your tribe must eat really well."
"That's right, the Tiger Clan lacks nothing, especially food." Fire Spirit, who was leading the way, said with a smile when he heard this.
There wasn't much to hide. When he heard this, Hu Shan frowned. "Um... is it this good for hunting around your tribe?"
"We don't hunt," Fire Spirit said upon hearing this. "Wild game is delicious, but some of it carries viruses, so we should eat less of it." Of course, there are still things we can eat.
We can still eat the meat of ferocious beasts, but... the supply has decreased. Aren't we got enough meat at home? There's no need to go out and harass those prey.
Upon hearing this, Hu Shan frowned and looked at a group of people sitting not far away. "Who are those people?" he asked.
"Those are workers," Huo Ling said upon hearing this. "The elders' cemetery is just ahead. We've chosen a spot to be our ancestral graves." It means a unified burial site.
Upon hearing this, Hu Shan nodded and looked at the people not far away, who were washing clothes by the river. As they washed their clothes, the people looked at them with scrutinizing eyes but without fear.
"Don't cause trouble." Tiger Mountain said as Tiger Fang looked about to get angry. Tiger Fang frowned upon hearing this.
"The slaves here are really not good. They don't even know how to kneel down in front of guests and carry them around," Tiger Fang said coldly, making Haitang walk the whole way.
Hearing this, Fire Spirit's eyes widened. "Be dragged along? Why should we be dragged along? They have things to do too." Fire Spirit said, "Besides, we don't have slaves here, only workers..."
The slaves no longer exist. At first, the farm was used for slaves, but now they are workers. The farm is thriving, bringing economic benefits to the tribe and making everyone happy.
Under such circumstances, they were no longer slaves. Hearing this, Hu Shan and the others frowned, feeling that allowing slaves to ride on their heads was simply degrading themselves.
Of course, Hu Shan didn't ask any questions. He could only look around and feel a bit strange. He thought this tribe was too strange. But he didn't expect that there were people riding horses not far away.
Hu Shan was stunned when he saw the girl on horseback. She was full of youthful vigor and stunning beauty. She wore a white dress and a red cotton-padded jacket, which made her look very beautiful.
