To be honest, when Haitang was suddenly hugged at night, she was startled. Looking at the person who hugged her, Haitang said, "You scared me."
"I'm sorry," Dongfang Long said, looking at Haitang. "I just have something to tell Tangtang." Haitang was slightly taken aback when she heard this.
"I'll take you there." Upon hearing this, Haitang nodded, wondering what Dongfanglong wanted to take her to see. Nevertheless, she obediently followed. Haitang wondered why Dongfanglong would take her out in the middle of the night.
When Haitang and Dongfang Long went out, Yueyue woke up and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw Haitang and Dongfang Long. "Let's go together," Haitang said to Yueyue, who nodded.
Yueyue was always concerned about Haitang's situation and worried about her. After sensing some minor disturbances outside, she immediately got up to investigate.
So they quickly sensed Haitang and Dongfang Long. When Dongfang Long and Haitang arrived at the crack, Dongfang Long said, "Yueyue, you stay up there, let's go down..."
Upon hearing this, Yueyue nodded.
Haitang and Dongfang Long went downstairs. As Dongfang Long looked at Haitang, he said, "I think Tangtang will really like this place." He had originally planned to bring Haitang here, but later decided to give up due to some issues.
So he went down to investigate for a while before coming back up to take Haitang down with him. He checked all the dangerous places himself, and Haitang nodded when she heard this.
When Haitang followed Dongfang Long down, she was stunned. "This place..." It looked like a laboratory or something, or more like a refuge. Haitang began to look around.
The building materials were not familiar to her either; they resembled cement, yet contained elements of something else. As Haitang looked around, she knew this was not her own era, but rather a time after she had left it.
Haitang followed Dongfang Long inside. As they walked, Dongfang Long held Haitang's hand, saying, "Don't worry too much, I'm here..." Yes, don't worry too much.
Upon hearing this, Haitang nodded and followed Dongfang Long to a spot not far away. Looking around, Dongfang Long said, "There are iron lumps here; those things can attack people."
“It’s a robot, the robot I told you about,” Haitang said, and Dongfang Long nodded upon hearing this.
"Hmm, I also think it's a robot, but I wasn't sure, so I brought you along. Oh, and there were things shooting out of the walls, but I took them down." He said, looking at Haitang. Haitang looked up when she heard this.
Looking at Dongfang Long immediately, Haitang asked, "Are you injured anywhere?" Upon hearing this, Dongfang Long shook his head.
When Dongfang Long shook his head, he said to Haitang, "I didn't... really..." Haitang didn't believe him and immediately began to check him frantically.
Dongfang Long was somewhat helpless, but he still stood there and let Haitang examine him. During the examination, Haitang breathed a sigh of relief, "It's good that you haven't been injured before, otherwise, if this bullet were to be removed from your body, it would take half your life."
When Haitang looked at Dongfang Long, she said this. Upon hearing this, Dongfang Long nodded. At this moment, Haitang understood in her heart that Dongfang Long was skilled and daring, and that he was lucky to have escaped injury.
"If Number One encounters a place like this, don't be foolish enough to go up there," Haitang couldn't help but say. Upon hearing this, Dongfang Long nodded, and Haitang looked around.
Haitang and Dongfang Long walked to a place not far away. Haitang was quite familiar with this high-tech thing because the relevant information was in the movie. Haitang came to a place that looked like a computer.
Looking around, they suddenly noticed that the surroundings had lit up. Haitang was startled, as was Dongfanglong. "Don't move," Haitang said, reaching out to grab Dongfanglong's hand.
Dongfang Long then refrained from making a move. A person appeared on the screen, a man in a white coat. "If someone returns here, it means that humanity has not been wiped out."
“Our plan failed. We tried to change and encroach on God’s territory and suffered retribution.” Haitang paused for a moment. “I left this video here to tell future generations, no matter how many years from now, some of the truths of what happened back then.”
Haitang and Dongfanglong exchanged a glance. As Dongfanglong looked at the screen, he heard the people on it talking about the previous world, where technology had developed rapidly after Haitang traveled there.
In this rapidly developing world, humanity is no longer content with Earth and is trying to go to outer space. However, there is one difficulty: the planets in outer space where humanity can reside are too far away from Earth.
Humanity wanted to witness firsthand contact and communication with those people, so... they began to target Mother Earth, excavating this "earth marrow," the lifeblood of the planet, to use as raw material for power.
Initially, scientists calculated that digging too little wouldn't have a significant impact on Earth, and under these circumstances, they quickly began operations. However... an unexpected event occurred: during the excavation, for some unknown reason, a planet was attracted to the site.
It was attracted by Earth, and by the time humanity realized what was happening, the small planet had crashed into Earth like a meteorite. Subsequent investigations revealed that it was Earth's counterattack.
