Chapter 373 Remnants of the Serpent Tribe

Dongfang Long led Gui Wu to the next stronghold. Under these circumstances, Dongfang Long looked at the distance with a somewhat cold gaze, while Gui Wu looked at Dongfang Long with a somewhat weak expression.

"Cough cough..." Gui Wu originally wanted to speak, but found that he couldn't say anything in the end. The pain in his body and the agony that seemed to tear his soul apart made Gui Wu feel extremely uncomfortable.

In this situation, she felt extremely uncomfortable, but in the next second, she saw Dongfang Long tightly gripping his clothes and said, "Don't worry, I will take you back."

When Dongfang Long looked at Gui Wu, he spoke. Upon hearing this, Gui Wu looked at Dongfang Long with a reassuring expression, "You'll understand soon..."

Gui Wu nodded, closed his eyes, and quickly fell asleep. After falling asleep and closing his eyes, the pain in his body lessened considerably. Under these circumstances, Dongfang Long looked at the bird-beastman.

"It's best not to do anything reckless." Upon hearing this, the bird-beastman looked at Dongfang Long, but dared not act rashly. He understood that Dongfang Long was right; if he acted recklessly, he would lose his life. Of course, more importantly, the years of torment had already made the beastman subconsciously back down.

On the back of the bird-beastman, Dongfang Long looked into the distance, towards where Haitang was. As he looked in that direction, Dongfang Long's expression showed a hint of longing, but he also knew that now was not the time to go back.

Haitang also had her own things to do. After the orcs of the Bull Tribe were defeated and surrendered their territory, Haitang decided to go there herself to investigate. Fortunately, the place was right next to hers, so there wouldn't be much danger.

Despite saying that, Huo Qiu still found someone to protect Haitang. Haitang followed the person to this area. "It's so damp here..." It was extremely damp. The surrounding area was inhabited by snakes, so the place was very damp.

After the Bull Tribe took over, they did not expand their settlements in this area. As a result, the original huts and dwellings here are now dilapidated. The Snake Tribe... was originally a large tribe, but it perished because of one wrong step after another.

Looking around, Haitang said, "From now on, this place will be used as a hunting ground and a planting area." After looking around, Haitang added, "By the way, let's see if there are any good things left behind by the snake tribe here."

"What good stuff could this place possibly have?" the tiger-beastman asked, looking down on the snake tribe. Haitang chuckled and shook her head.

"The Snake Clan has many treasures. Let's go to the Snake Clan's warehouse." Haitang wanted to see if the Snake Clan had left any good things behind. Hearing this, the Tiger Beastman and the others led Haitang away.

When Haitang arrived at a nearby cave, she began searching. Several snakes were hanging above the entrance. The tiger-beastman frowned upon seeing this and immediately lit a fire to illuminate the surrounding area.

After getting the lights on, she looked around with a hint of wariness in her eyes. "There are quite a few venomous snakes here, and they all have poison powder on them," Haitang said, glancing at the people around her. They nodded in agreement.

As they walked further in, Haitang was suddenly grabbed by the hand by the tiger-beastman. Haitang looked at him and said, "There are people living here, and there are still people." Hearing this, Haitang was slightly taken aback. "A snake-beastman..."

Haitang was a little surprised. After sniffing, she found the scent of orcs, and it seemed to be recent. "It seems that some of the orcs from this snake tribe have gone into hiding."

"Let's retreat first," Haitang said as she looked around. This was the main battlefield of the snake tribe. The old bachelor said that if they clashed with the orcs of the snake tribe in such a dark and damp place, their own tribe would definitely suffer the consequences.

Upon hearing this, the tiger-beastman did not object. Instead, he nodded and led his people to retreat. As they retreated, Haitang and the others heard the commotion, and Haitang immediately ran away with the people around her.

While they were outside, the tiger-orc spoke up, "Listen up, snake tribe orcs inside! This is now our tiger tribe's territory. If you don't come out, we're going to set it on fire. You've invaded our land."

Looking at the cave entrance, the tiger-beastman said coldly. These words were actually a bit rude. This place originally belonged to the snake tribe. The problem was that the snake tribe lost. The defeated had no reason or right to occupy this place.

Just like the orcs of the Tiger Clan, if the orcs of the Tiger Clan lose, their final fate will be either to leave their homeland or to become slaves of others.

Upon hearing Dong's voice, the orcs inside revealed their blood-red eyes and looked outside. "I know you're in there. We can come out and talk things over. If you insist on fighting, you'll be the ones who suffer," Haitang said immediately after sensing the presence inside.

Haitang clearly sensed the murderous intent emanating from the orcs inside. The feeling of being stared at was terrifying; it was the gaze of a snake. When she heard these words, the snake-beastman inside did not come out.

The tiger-beastman standing nearby said, "Begonia, let's stop wasting words with these people and get to work..." Looking inside, he added, "Go get some firewood. Throw it in, and I don't believe these snake bastards won't come out."

She didn't have much affection for the snake tribe's orcs. These orcs were currently hiding in the shadows, and they wouldn't have come here if Haitang hadn't wanted to search for treasure.
