Hearing Dongfanglong's words, Haitang couldn't help but be a little surprised. "If it really is on the reef, then that makes sense," Haitang said, "there are places to live in the caves on the reef."
Upon hearing this, Dongfang Long said, "I understand. We'll go and search for it. I don't believe we can't find it." He looked at Haitang and said this. Haitang nodded in agreement.
“Actually… Little Dragon… I sometimes think that our approach to the Turtle Tribe might be too aggressive. The problem is… if we’re not aggressive, others will be aggressive towards us,” Haitang said.
Haitang knew very well that the things the Turtle Tribe did were basically insane. Of course, this insaneness couldn't be entirely without reason; the hatred was sown by the orcs from the very beginning.
If I had gone to the orc tribe at the beginning, I might have been brainwashed and accepted the revenge of the turtle tribe. The problem is that I was born into the orc tribe, not the turtle tribe.
Under such circumstances, how could I possibly agree with the behavior of the Turtle Tribe? I couldn't possibly think that the people of the Turtle Tribe were right; I would only think that they were all crazy.
Upon hearing this, Dongfang Long looked at Haitang and then reached out to hug her tightly, saying, "Silly girl, don't think too much. What we did was not wrong to ourselves. Moreover... the Turtle Clan did those things for themselves, and we did those things for the ones we love."
Regardless of the difference in their beliefs, both sides are right in the other's mind. Dongfang Long understands that if you really try to figure out right and wrong, both are wrong. Moreover, it's not like you can pretend that nothing happened just by backing down.
In such a situation, there is no choice but to move forward rather than retreat. Upon hearing this, Haitang nodded and looked at Dongfang Long, leaning against him and nodding in agreement.
Haitang had a dream at night. Everything in the dream was blood-red. In the dream, Haitang saw many turtles being surrounded by people not far away. Then something was being forcibly pulled out, and Haitang could hear the heart-wrenching screams.
Haitang was still staring at the blood-red thing that had been dragged out, covered in blood and filled with twisted hatred as it looked at the people not far away. Haitang couldn't help but wake up in shock.
"Tangtang..." Looking at Haitang's expression, Dongfang Long was both surprised and worried. When she heard this, Haitang looked at Dongfang Long with a pale face.
"I'm fine." Upon hearing this, Haitang shook her head, but her complexion clearly indicated something was wrong. Haitang asked, "What time is it now...? The sun has risen..."
Haitang wondered if it was because she had heard too many of those stories that she dreamed about them at night, which is why she dreamed about those legendary terrifying scenes. When she heard this, Dongfang Long looked at Haitang and rubbed her head.
"Hmm, it's dawn... Don't think too much." Dongfang Long said as he looked at Haitang. Although Haitang didn't say anything, Dongfang Long could still sense that Haitang's nightmare was probably similar to what he had imagined.
He didn't know how to comfort her, so he could only pretend that he hadn't noticed. When he heard this, Haitang nodded and looked into the distance. The people of the Shark Clan who had been brought by the sunrise had arrived again.
Of course, it wasn't just the Shark Claw tribesmen who came; other marine tribes of beastmen also came. However, those beastmen initially hid, but later they learned from the Shark Claw tribesmen and came to exchange for some good things, with cloth always being the most sought-after.
The orcs quite liked the things from the tiger tribe, but they were still afraid of the land orcs, so they didn't dare to openly rob them.
The orcs of the Ocean Tribe are powerful, but the problem is that if they were to fight against the Tiger Tribe on land, it would be suicidal, so no one would dare to take that risk.
Moreover, the location chosen by Haitang's tiger tribe was a place that was a bit far from the sea, but not too far. It was a place that would give the people of the ocean tribe a sense of security, but also a place where they would not be in a passive position.
When Haitang looked at these marine tribesmen who had come ashore, she understood that their fear of the land-dwelling beastmen was not just superficial but ingrained in their very bones. Thinking of that dream, she realized that if she saw that bloody scene, she would also feel fear.
While Haitang was looking down, Dongfanglong led Huoqiu to explore. However, the two of them were very careful. They did find some orcs living on the reef, but those orcs were poorer than the people in other places.
At the very least, they were emaciated and looked malnourished. Some of the females were only wearing their lower bodies. Almost every time they were dressed, Dongfang Long and Huo Qiu couldn't help but frown.
Of course, this incident didn't change much. However, some of the orcs on the reefs launched an attack on Dongfang Long and Huo Qiu as if they were heinous criminals.
Under this attack, Huo Qiu and Dongfang Long immediately dodged and went to another reef and shallow beach. Haitang had told Dongfang Long that there was a space inside the reef.
Even though the outside was submerged, there was still plenty of space inside. Remembering all this, Dongfang Long decided to explore and dived into the water. Huo Qiu was about to do the same.
