Chapter 9 Trade Fair 1

"Hey... host, you really don't understand my good intentions. As a food streamer, after I bound myself to you, I naturally became the food for the mission," the system said.

Hearing this, Haitang was a little surprised but also happy, because this way she could indulge in all kinds of delicious food.

Haitang started cooking, but there was something else to eat right now. Haitang took out salt and began to chop chili peppers with a stone knife. "You guys go away."

"Sister, let me help," Xingxingyue said. Haitang nodded. Xiaohe was weaving baskets not far away, teaching those who came to learn. Under these circumstances, the fish and shrimp increased in number.

Hearing this, Haitang nodded. The tribe didn't have kilns, so they had to go outside to make ceramics. Haitang then started making sauces with the chili sauce.

Despite the many rules, the seeds were selected directly, these were tomato seeds. Haitang glanced at them but didn't pay much attention.

After making the sauce, they started wrapping it up. The next day, many people brought sweet potatoes, and Haitang was immediately happy when she saw them.

She started by teaching everyone how to cook it. Haitang originally planned to do it herself, but she underestimated the fighting power of these people. She couldn't even do it well by herself.

So they directly chose to take a cut, and the woman was quite happy to do so. She started learning from Haitang, and when night fell, the sweet potato starch was hanging on a pillar not far away, which surprised the woman a bit.

This stuff is really good. Once the sweet potato flour was ready, the women gave Haitang the amount she had initially promised. The next day was the time for the sweet potato army to harvest the harvest. Haitang also paid the people who came to her the next day to learn how to make sweet potatoes.

There was a lot of sweet potato starch at home, and Haitang was very pleased. Haitang wanted to go to the trade fair, so she had to go with someone. Nowadays, most people wouldn't bring a female along.

If Haitang didn't go herself, she wouldn't be able to see the things she wanted to trade. Helpless, Haitang had no choice but to go to Shishui.

Xiuxiu knows about sweet potato starch, but she hasn't learned how to make it, thinking it's useless. Plus, she's pregnant and hasn't been out much, so she's only heard about it.

After Haitang told Shishui, Shishui looked at Haitang and said, "You want to come with me to the trade fair? It'll be several days' journey." Hearing this, Haitang nodded to indicate that she understood.

"I know, Uncle, I won't be a burden to you." Haitang's words made Shishui nod in agreement. This time, Haitang brought a lot of sweet potato starch and sauces.

The sauce paired with the sweet potato noodles was delicious; even Shi Hu liked it. "I'll go with you," Shi Hu said.

"But your injuries," Haitang said, looking at Shi Hu.

"My injuries have healed, and I can get out of bed now." After Shi Hu was able to get out of bed, he started hunting. However, since no one was with him, he could only follow Haitang to find food or catch fish.

When Haitang looked at Shi Hu, she initially couldn't believe that his injuries had healed so quickly, but it turned out that the orcs' physique was truly remarkable.

Although she could no longer transform into a beast, she was still much stronger than Haitang, so carrying the basket on her back was not strenuous.

"Brother..." Shi Shui's eyes reddened when he saw his older brother. "You can walk now, are you alright?"

"It's nothing. Haitang found me some herbs, and I'm much better now." Upon hearing this, Shishui looked at Haitang and nodded.

Shi Hu wasn't deceiving Haitang; he really was much faster. However, Haitang was a little surprised to see Shi Shui and the others transform into beasts halfway through. At the moment, Shi Shui was carrying Haitang on his back and with Shi Hu on his back.

Elsewhere, people were carrying their females on their backs. It was only under these circumstances that Haitang realized how naive she had been. The roads they were traveling on these past few days were made faster by beastmen dragging their belongings after they had transformed.

After the crabapple stopped, she used a small seashell to boil cold water, then threw in the vermicelli, and after it was scalded, she added the stone tiger and the water.

After eating it, Shi Shui asked, "Is this the sweet potato starch you were talking about?"

"Hmm, isn't it delicious?" Shi Shui nodded upon hearing this, but he was somewhat disappointed that his wife hadn't learned how to make it.

"I'll send some to my uncle when we get back," Haitang said. Shishui looked at Haitang and hesitated for a moment.

"Take it," Shi Hu said, and Shi Shui nodded in agreement. They quickly got to work.

When Haitang and the others arrived, they found that the trade fair was full of orcs. Shishui had to trade his own things, so he left quickly, while Haitang went with Shihu.

"Father, why did you come with me?" Haitang asked, knowing that she wouldn't get into any trouble on her own.

“Silly girl, if I didn’t come with you, your uncle would have to follow you around all day long. There are few females here, and if no one comes with you, you will be captured and enslaved,” he said, looking at Haitang.

Upon hearing this, Haitang nodded and obediently followed Shi Hu to set up a stall not far away, waiting for customers to come and buy. "Father, is this alright?"

"Okay, that's fine. We'll just wait for them to arrive," Shi Hu said. He didn't want his younger brother to be unable to exchange the items because he was watching over his daughter, which was why he came.

Haitang sighed as she squatted down, then put the seashell down. Since she had found the seashell, she immediately started a fire. Shi Hu stared blankly at his daughter.

Haitang immediately started adding oil and frying the sauce she had prepared, while asking her father to boil water for her. The aroma was incredibly stimulating, and the orcs, with their even better sense of smell, immediately surrounded her.

"What is this?" I asked, looking at the crabapple tree. The crabapple tree was using the leaves to put the food on each leaf.

"You can try it," Haitang said, having prepared several with sauce. "You can try them and see if they're good. If you don't like them, you don't need to change them."

"Father, you eat..." Shi Hu watched his daughter take a bite, and only after seeing this did the other beastmen eat. The sauce wasn't too spicy, it was just right... The taste was stimulating yet left a lingering aftertaste.

"I only have two spies' worth of sauce and this jelly here. Right now, I'm going to exchange it for this big spy and a ten-meter-long cloth." She doesn't need the salt for the time being. When they heard this, the group looked at Haitang.

"Is that really it?" Haitang nodded. This exchange wasn't too expensive, but it was just right. Immediately, someone sent her servants to fetch the items.

The people who just did the taste test were all from the same group. "Those are from the Leopard Clan," Shi Hu said, looking at Haitang. Haitang glanced at them, and at that moment, the Leopard Clan members also looked at Haitang and the others.

"You're not from the Southern Tiger Clan, are you?" Upon hearing this, Haitang looked at her father.

“Hmm, we’re not.” Upon hearing this, the leopard clan members were slightly taken aback. Shi Hu nodded, and the blond young man who was currently leading them smiled to indicate that he understood.
