Chapter 95 Housing Preparation

Dongfang Long told Shi Hu that he needed to take leave because he had something to do, and then went to check on his territory. After arriving, he looked at a spot not far away.

Knowing that Haitang likes farming, he quickly planned out a space for himself and Haitang, which was about a thousand square meters.

Under such circumstances, he went to cut bamboo. After returning from cutting bamboo, he started planting bamboo in a nearby area. People around him were a little puzzled, but they soon realized that Dongfang Long was building a house.

Haitang also heard about the place Dongfang Long had chosen. Haitang went to see it and found it to be quite nice, with a small cave at the back. When Haitang went to see it, Dongfang Long led her inside.

“Look, if it gets too hot, we can cool off here. There’s light reflecting off the ceiling, so it won’t be too dark. As for the work, I’ll polish it with stones at night.”

Upon hearing this, Haitang looked at Dongfang Long. Dongfang Long excitedly told Haitang about the location. Haitang looked at the mountain and said that she really disagreed, but felt that it was too close and was afraid of encountering a landslide.

"Isn't this too far from the mountain?" Haitang asked, and Dongfang Long immediately shook his head.

“No, we can plant flowers and grass on this mountain and let them climb up so there won’t be any problems,” Dongfang Long said, as the orcs were aware of the dangers.

"Besides, this is a rocky mountain, nothing will happen here," Haitang nodded upon hearing this. Her location was still some distance from the mountain, but Dongfang Long had included it in the plan.

Seeing Dongfang Long surrounding them from a distance, Haitang felt a little tempted. Everything this man did was so captivating.

It's like we're foolishly preparing a place for the two of us to live. This place isn't far from Shi Hu's house; it's about a hundred meters away. The area behind the mountain can be turned into a vegetable garden.

"It was all planned out by Dongfang Long," Haitang said after reviewing the plan. "How is the location I chose?"

“Not bad,” Haitang nodded. “I have to go back and cook. You can take your time,” Haitang said to Dongfang Long, knowing she didn’t have much time to chat with him.

Dongfang Long nodded and began preparing things after Haitang left. He brought back a lot of bamboo, which he used to fence off his own territory, where there were few people living nearby.

There was no one on the far right, and this area wasn't popular at first. It was only after Haitang's family came that Shi Hu and Shi Ming moved in and the area became lively.

So Dongfang Long circled around a few more places without anyone trembling. In this world, not to mention territory, there's plenty of it.

Today, Dongfanglong simply surrounded the area with bamboo. The next day, he would start cutting down trees, which were as thick as Dongfanglong's arm. Under these circumstances, Dongfanglong would choose to hunt with Shihu before going out.

Haitang was also collecting crabapples, so she really didn't know what Dongfanglong had been doing. When she found out, she went to see what Dongfanglong had been doing from early morning to late at night.

The garden that Dongfang Long is currently building must be as sturdy as possible, and he doesn't want Haitang to be unsafe when she lives there. He has to be careful to prevent the last incident from happening again, and Dongfang Long has made a lot of plans for this.

As for that cave, Dongfang Long simply carried stones to cover it up and placed them directly at the entrance. If you didn't get close, no one would notice that there were stones inside.

Haitang was cooking something at home when she saw Dongfang Long eat and then go out. Feeling a little sorry for him, she cooked something too, ate a few bites, and then followed him out. As Haitang went out, she saw Dongfang Long not far away, using a stone to polish something.

"What are you doing?" Haitang was slightly taken aback. The thing that Dongfang Long was polishing with a stone was a huge, long stone. Now that he was polishing it, the surface had become much smoother.

"Tangtang, look, I've polished this stone so we can use it as floor tiles later," Dongfang Long said as he looked at Haitang. Haitang was stunned for a while.

He walked straight over, grabbed Dongfang Long's hand, and turned it over to look at the blisters on it. "What have you been thinking about these days?"

“I’m thinking of building a house for Haitang. You never said before that you didn’t like the house we have now. I was thinking that you sometimes said that using stone bricks to pave the floor would make it smooth and beautiful, and it wouldn’t hurt your feet. So we need to polish it properly,” Dongfang Long said as he looked at Haitang.

Haitang felt a little helpless. Although Dongfang Long listened to Haitang and didn't build a house, he still put a lot of things in the yard, all of which were made of polished stone.

There was a stool with the original shape, as well as a stone table and the floor tiles that the other party had laid. Haitang knew that these were marble tiles, but the problem was that he was rubbing his hands with stones, and he didn't know how much damage that would cause.

“We can deal with that later. These things can't be rushed. I'll tell you what I want. Once I'm ready, we'll build the house together,” Haitang said. “So don't overwork yourself all the time. My dad said that sometimes he doesn't sleep at night to work. If you ruin your health, I'll be the one who suffers,”

"I..." Dongfang Long looked at Haitang and said. "I'm not tired," Haitang washed Dongfang Long's hands with water, then pulled him back inside, closed the courtyard door, and Dongfang Long followed with a smile as he looked at Haitang holding his hand.

"You can come over anytime, whether it's snowing or raining, there's no need to come now," Haitang said. Haitang didn't plan to build a wooden house; she intended to use bricks. However, the foundation was a bit of a problem. Right now, both cement and the foundation were troublesome issues.
