Chapter 11 Threats
Qiao Mo found two gauze masks from the wooden bracelet space, threw one to Yang Weihua, put the other on himself, and waited until the smell dissipated slightly before going in.
Qiao Mo saw the piles of waste paper, waste books and all kinds of miscellaneous things in the warehouse. He didn't know where to start, so he simply spread out his spiritual sense to look for valuable things inside.
Soon, she had a clear look at everything in the warehouse: there were no antique calligraphy and paintings, or rare and valuable books mentioned in the novel, but there were quite a few high school textbooks she needed, and she found at least more than ten sets.
Other valuable items included a box of medical books, a makeup box, two copper coins, a postal book, an incense burner, and a Huanghuali writing desk piled under various woods. Seeing Yang Weihua flipping through the books carefully, she bent down and put these things one by one into the space of the wooden bracelet under the cover of various sundries, leaving only a set of high school textbooks and several study materials in her hand.
The things were in her hands, but Yang Weihua was still looking down to search. She couldn't appear too relaxed, so she put a few textbooks in her hands into the wooden bracelet space and followed Yang Weihua's example to rummage through the pile of waste paper.
An hour passed and both of them were sweating profusely. They finally met up with their things. After comparing them, they found that the only thing missing was a Chinese textbook for the first semester of their first year in high school, so they gave up.
"Momo, I will enter high school after school starts, and I will give you the Chinese textbook then." Yang Weihua was afraid that Qiao Mo would be disappointed, so he quickly expressed his opinion.
"Okay, let me thank my cousin first." Qiao Mo nodded happily, then followed him to Qiao Yuting's colleague to pay.
"Are you out now? Have you found all the textbooks?" Aunt He asked kindly.
"Well, there's still one Chinese textbook I haven't found. My cousin said he would give it to me after school starts." Qiao Mo said happily.
"You are such a good child. Which book is missing? We will keep an eye out for you. If there is one, we will ask Wei Hua to send it to you." Aunt He said with a smile.
"Then I'd like to thank Aunt He first." Qiao Mo thanked her with a smile, and then told her about the missing textbooks.
"You're welcome. Children love to read and study, so of course we have to support them."
Aunt He weighed the things quickly, Qiao Mo handed over the money, and Qiao Futing tied up the books for them with a rope. Then they said goodbye to them while holding the books.
It was almost noon at this time, and Qiao Mo had no money to treat everyone (her money was all in the bank, and the original owner's pocket money had been spent on books). In fact, even if she had money, it would be useless without the ticket, so everyone had to go home.
"Momo, do you want me to take you home?" Yang Weihua asked, weighing the things in his hand.
"No need, this amount is nothing to me." After saying that, she took the book from his hand, waved to him and turned away.
Seeing that she didn't seem to be struggling with the carrying, Yang Weihua turned around and went back.
