Chapter 183: Resuming the College Entrance Examination (2/2)

"Sister Dongqing, Sister Xiaoyun, Brother Wang, why are you here?" Qiao Mo invited them into the small kitchen and served them some sweet soup.

"Momo, stop working. We have something to ask you." He Dongqing held her hand and said embarrassedly.

"I will definitely help if I can." Qiao Mo sat next to her.

"Momo, I want to ask you, do you have any extra textbooks?" He Dongqing said helplessly, "It was a little late when we got the news. When we went to the bookstore, all the textbooks and materials were out of stock. We really had no choice but to come to you for help."

"Sister Dongqing, don't worry, I still have the textbooks here." Qiao Mo thought that there were still a few sets of textbooks in his space, and there were not many left for him to keep, so he planned to give them all to them, which could be regarded as a good relationship.

"Thank you, we are willing to buy it at a high price." Wang Xin said excitedly. The college entrance examination is the best way for them to return to Donghai, and he doesn't want to miss it because of the lack of textbooks.

"Just give me the original price. My textbooks were all obtained by relatives and friends at home. They have been used by others. Please don't be disgusted." Qiao Mo didn't want to make money from them, but he wouldn't give them away for free.

"Textbooks nowadays are priceless treasures. It's good enough to have them. How can we dislike them?" Yang Xiaoyun was glad that they came to find Qiao Mo.

"Xiao Yun is right. At this critical moment, it's a good thing to see something." He Dongqing also nodded.

"Wait here for a moment, I'll get them for you." Qiao Mo knew everyone was very busy, so he didn't say much to them. He went back to his room and took out three sets of high school textbooks from the space. Then he went back to the small kitchen and gave them the textbooks. "Sister Dongqing, here are three sets of high school textbooks."

"Although these books are not complete, they are at least 80% intact, which shows how much the original owner cherished them." He Dongqing didn't expect Qiao Mo to take out three neatly arranged sets of textbooks, and she was ecstatic: she originally thought that they would be lucky to get one set.

"These were obtained by my cousin and a few friends. My cousin is a fresh graduate this year, and two of my friends have some connections in their families, so they got them from school. But they don't know each other, so they got them duplicated," Qiao Mo explained.

"It's nice to have someone thinking of me." Yang Xiaoyun thought that those people must have heard the news in advance, otherwise they would not have been able to send the information so early.

"Let's not talk about that anymore, Momo. We'll leave first." He Dongqing thought that Qiao Mo was an orphan, and apart from his aunt's family, he had no other relatives to care about him. Yang Xiaoyun was really bringing up things that were not relevant.

After seeing He Dongqing and the others off, Qiao Mo prepared to go back to her room to read, but just as she reached the door, she was stopped by Yang Linglan, who looked resentful.

"Qiao Mo, why don't you lend me your textbooks?"

"I don't own it, why should I lend it to you?" Qiao Mo looked at her with amusement.

"We have lived under the same roof for more than a year, so we must have some kind of relationship. You knew that I didn't have any textbooks, but you had extra ones in your hands but you held on to them tightly. That's really not considerate of you." Yang Linglan's eyes were full of accusations.

"Do you still remember your deal with the Li family? As an undercover agent, should I have any feelings for you?" Qiao Mo looked at her with a sneer. Before Li Changhe's downfall, whenever she received letters and packages from Donghai, she would find ways to find out who sent them and what the contents were.

Since she couldn't get any information from the educated youth center, she tried to make friends with the postman, trying to get information from her, and even wanted to take her letters and packages. Anyone could see through her intentions.
