Time rewinds and sees Lin Momo still standing in the same spot. He frowns, pulls open the back door, and urges, "Get in the car first."
"Beep—, beep—" The impatient horn sounded again.
If the car of time doesn't move, the cars behind it can't move either; it's not right to keep blocking the entrance like this forever.
Lin Momo had no choice but to sit down reluctantly.
Shi Guang visibly relaxed, casually closed the car door for her, quickly sat back in the driver's seat, and stepped on the gas.
The car, with its engine still running, sped away from the hotel entrance like an arrow.
The car that had been urging them to move remained motionless, seemingly stunned by what had just happened.
The woman in the passenger seat looked at her husband with a puzzled expression: "You were just rushing them to move their car like a madman, why aren't you in a hurry now? Let's go!"
"What do you know? Didn't you see that couple arguing? I was just trying to help the guy out. But this handsome guy drives way too fast! No wonder his girlfriend didn't want to get in his car."
The woman rolled her eyes, speechless.
What is all this nonsense? I think you're just trying to join in the fun!
Meanwhile, time has already driven its car into the endless stream of traffic.
The car was quiet. Both of them seemed to be holding back their anger, and neither of them was inclined to speak first.
Finally, someone couldn't help but speak up.
"Lin Momo, do you really intend to leave without saying goodbye!" Shi Guang stared straight ahead, not giving the ungrateful woman a second glance, and his words were laced with suppressed anger.
Clearly, he was still angry, and now that he learned how despicable Lin Momo was and that she even thought of sneaking away, he became even angrier.
Knowing she was in the wrong, Lin Momo was speechless and lowered her head guiltily.
Time is clearly on the verge of exploding in fury.
To avoid adding fuel to the fire, Lin Momo could only silently defend herself in her heart: How could someone leave without saying goodbye? Didn't we say goodbye last night?
At least in her view, it was a farewell.
Shi Guang continued to berate, "Didn't you say you were going to pay back your debts? Why are you planning to run away before you've even paid them back?"
Lin Momo remained silent.
She thought to herself, "You were the one who didn't want me last night, weren't you? And now you're turning around and blaming me."
Seeing the car drive onto the overpass, Lin Momo finally couldn't help but ask, "Where are you taking me?"
This time, however, time remained silent.
