Afterwards, the two of them searched every corner. During this time, they also encountered some wandering beastmen. Shen Miao took the initiative to ask them, but most of them did not know anything, while some gave clues.
By searching bit by bit, they finally found the exact location of the Bloodworm Clan.
"We're only one sunset away from here, so we'll be able to see the Bloodworm Orcs tomorrow." Shen Miao was very excited.
She received this information from a small tribe with only seven or eight households. When they saw the Bloodworms migrating through their area, they had asked them for food.
The small tribe dared not offend the Bloodworm Clan, so they sent over all their stockpiled food, thus avoiding disaster.
Shen Miao was somewhat angry upon hearing this; the Bloodworm Clan remained as domineering and incorrigible as ever.
But she wasn't a savior; she could only help her own tribe and couldn't change much.
The next day, before sunset, they found the Bloodworm Clan.
But as soon as the Bloodworm Orcs saw Shen Miao, they surrounded her, making indecent noises.
"A female beast has arrived! Haha, whoever catches her gets to keep her!" shouted the Bloodworm Orc.
Shen Miao was stunned and quickly explained, "I'm here to see your leader. I have something to discuss with him. Please pass on this message."
The orcs looked her over with ill intent: "Want to see our leader? Our leader wouldn't even look at you. Why don't you look at me? I'm strong too."
Shen Miao's face turned cold.
Fortunately, at that moment, an orc shouted, "The chieftain is here!"
The jeers gradually subsided.
Several orcs appeared, surrounding their tall, burly leader. The surroundings were completely silent. The leader asked, "What's all this commotion?"
One of the orcs pointed at Shen Miao and said, "Chief, a female beast has come here and says she wants to see you."
Upon hearing this, the leader turned to look at Shen Miao, his eyes darkening slightly, and his face immediately turned black. He would never forget the humiliation he suffered at the hands of this female beast.
"You've got some nerve, daring to come to our tribe!" the chief said through gritted teeth.
Shen Miao straightened her back and said neither humbly nor arrogantly, "I came here this time not to fight you, and you can't beat me anyway."
Was the leader so angry with her that he was about to vomit blood?
He had never seen a female beast like this before, who actually chased after him and mocked him?
"Are you really not afraid I'll kill you?" the leader said sinisterly.
Shen Miao smiled calmly: "You can't kill me."
The leader sneered, about to say something, when he suddenly noticed the strange beast that Shen Miao had ridden. It was the same strange beast leader that had caused them to suffer a crushing defeat on the battlefield.
He was suddenly startled and instinctively looked around, suspecting that there were other strange beasts hiding somewhere else.
As if she could read his mind, Shen Miao said calmly, "Don't look, you won't find it. I'm not here to cause trouble, I just want you to hand over the antidote for the Gu poison."
The leader was taken aback, then suddenly seemed to remember something and burst into laughter.
"Your tribe's orcs are all going to die, aren't they? What good is it if you beat us? You'll still die at our hands." The chieftain gloated and laughed maniacally.
Shen Miao's fingernails almost dug into her flesh. Sure enough, it was them who did it.
Her face was as cold as ice. "Hand over the antidote, and our feud will be wiped clean. From now on, we'll keep to ourselves."
"Dream on. You can have the antidote if you want, but let me tie you up and hang you from a tree for three days and three nights. If you can hold out, I'll give you the antidote." The leader looked her up and down with his small eyes.
The surrounding Bloodworm Orcs clapped and laughed wildly.
Shen Miao remained silent for a while, swallowing the anger in her heart.
She mustn't act impulsively; there's a tribe of orcs waiting for her to go back and save them.
After repeating this several times, Shen Miao finally calmed herself down, but the words she uttered were still incredibly cold and hard: "I'll trade you beast crystals."
"No trade, we don't care," the Bloodworm Beastmen shouted.
Shen Miao took a deep breath and said, "Medicinal herbs and food are fine, as long as they are within my acceptable range, I can get them for you."
The Bloodworm leader raised his chin arrogantly and said, "You think we lack your meager food? Don't dream about it, it's impossible."
"So what exactly do you want?" Shen Miao asked, suppressing her immense anger.
The Bloodworm leader chuckled maliciously, "I already said I'd leave you hanging from the tree for three days. What, you…?"
Before she could finish speaking, Shen Miao suddenly attacked, sending a fireball that struck the Bloodworm Clan leader's feet, burning a crater. If the leader hadn't dodged quickly, it would have been his leg that was burned off.
The Bloodworm Clan orcs were immediately in an uproar.
The leader pointed at Shen Miao and said, enunciating each word clearly, "You're dead!"
Deep and indifferent.
The human and the beast were surrounded. The white-horned beast lifted Shen Miao up and placed her on its back. The two worked together to slaughter the Bloodworm Clan until they were plunged into darkness.
The Bloodworm Clan, who had been so arrogant just moments before, now seemed to feel the fear of being dominated by the alien beasts.
They never imagined that so many of them, the orcs, would be no match for a single beast.
It seems that this strange beast had been holding back its strength.
The Bloodworm leader hid behind, gritting his teeth in hatred.
As the beast lifted another orc and slammed it against the rock, he could no longer contain himself and shouted, "Stop!"
Shen Miao gently patted the strange beast.
The beast then lowered the orc it had been lifting.
"Have you thought it through?" Shen Miao asked calmly.
The Bloodworm leader surveyed the orc corpses scattered all around him; they were all his people!
Last time, this beast killed a group of them, and now it has killed so many more. If this continues, the Bloodworm Clan will be wiped out.
The Bloodworm leader, his eyes red, said viciously, "I'll tell you the formula to cure the curse. You'd better stop right now, or I'd rather die than tell you."
"Okay, go ahead."
After obtaining the solution, Shen Miao prepared to leave with the strange beast.
She's been away for so long, she doesn't know how things are in the tribe, or how Qingchen and the children are doing.
As soon as it turned around, the beast grabbed two Bloodworm Clan beastmen and threw them out violently.
Shen Miao was startled and couldn't help but call out to the beast. The beast whispered to her, "I plan to kill them all. The Bloodworm Clan is the biggest threat to other tribes if they remain in this world."
Upon hearing this, Shen Miao felt a pang of pity.
It wasn't that she thought the Bloodworm Clan was particularly good; it was just that she had just promised them and then went back on her word, which made her seem despicable.
The beast gently pushed her aside and said, "Go wait for me over there. I'll be done in a bit."
Shen Miao was powerless to stop the beast and could only watch helplessly as it wreaked havoc on the Bloodworm Clan orcs.
More and more orcs died under the claws of the beasts. Some who tried to escape were quickly caught and died even more tragically. Shen Miao couldn't bear to watch.
She was, after all, a normal person from civilized society, while for the orcs of this world, killing was the norm.
