The skeleton leader had a bad feeling.
The next second, he heard Shen Miao say, "Our tribe does not accept trash."
Although I didn't know what "garbage" meant, I knew from Shen Miao's tone that it wasn't a good word.
The skeleton soldiers, not understanding what was going on, assumed that Shen Miao was unwilling to accept them, and were somewhat flustered. Jiu Ying coughed lightly, walked over to Shen Miao, and said softly, "If you don't agree, I'm afraid the skeleton soldiers will cause trouble. They are numerous, and we may not be able to suppress them."
“I have a way,” Shen Miao said softly.
Seeing that she understood, Jiu Ying said nothing more, simply standing behind Shen Miao as a sharp blade.
Just as the skeleton soldiers were filled with unease, Shen Miao raised her voice again and said, "When I said I wouldn't accept trash, I meant your leader who made the wrong decision and put you in danger, and those guys with foul mouths."
She pointed them out one by one.
"As for the others, if you are willing to surrender, the tribe welcomes you."
Everyone thought they were doomed, but no one expected that things would take a turn for the better and that they would survive. For a moment, they were almost moved to tears of joy.
Only the skeleton leader, and a few other skeleton underlings who had been very unfriendly to Shen Miao, had faces so gloomy they could drip water.
"What, you're not convinced?" Shen Miao walked up to the leader and the other leaders.
Those people all lowered their heads and didn't say a word.
They exchanged glances privately, and suddenly, taking advantage of Shen Miao's unpreparedness, they launched a sudden attack on Shen Miao's face.
Shen Miao quickly dodged; she hadn't let her guard down at all. These idiots, however, thought she was unaware and were trying to launch a surprise attack.
She was the one who launched the surprise attack!
Nine-Headed Serpent's stone spear had already been unleashed. One stone spear pierced directly through a man's abdomen and was then pulled out violently. The little leader rolled on the ground in pain, screaming repeatedly.
The other skeleton soldiers were so terrified they almost wet themselves, and had no will to resist.
The skeleton leader wanted to resist, but his shoulder had been pierced by a heavy crossbow earlier and had not yet fully recovered, so he was powerless to do so.
Shen Miao had Jiu Ying tie the group up and made them kneel on the ground in front of all the skeleton soldiers and tribal orcs. She then laid bare their discussion, picked out a sturdy whip, weighed it in her hand, and a cruel smile appeared on her lips.
The skeleton leader had shown her various instruments of torture during her interrogation, and now she was using the simplest one.
Shen Miao gripped the whip and swung it in the air, making a cracking sound. The small leaders huddled together in fear.
When the whip struck them hard, the men let out screams like pigs being slaughtered.
One lash, then another.
Finally, these skeletons could no longer even scream; they simply turned into bloody holes or lumps of flesh and collapsed to the ground.
Everyone who witnessed it, including orcs and skeletons, was terrified.
Although they would fight and kill each other, they would only kill directly. They had never committed such a cruel act before. This was no longer killing, but torture.
Of course, these orcs didn't understand.
They just felt terrified, and their eyes were filled with awe and fear when they looked at Shen Miao.
In the end, the skeleton leader and several minor leaders were beaten to death, and their mangled corpses were thrown into the back mountain to be fed to the wild beasts.
The skeleton soldiers trembled, none daring to utter a sound.
They were afraid that they would be next.
Not only the skeleton soldiers were frightened, but also the tribal orcs, especially Frostflower.
Her face was deathly pale. Looking at Shen Miao's back, she looked at her as if she were looking at a demon. Thinking about how she had repeatedly opposed her before, and how Shen Miao hadn't done anything to her, she felt a wave of fear and relief.
"Frostflower, what's wrong? Why is your forehead covered in sweat?" A beastman beside her asked in surprise when he saw Frostflower's appearance.
Frost Flower forced a smile, "I, I'm fine, I'm just a little, a little scared."
The orc whispered, "Actually, I was scared too. It's the first time I've ever seen someone whipped to death. Look at that whip, it's covered in bits of flesh from those skeleton soldiers, tsk tsk."
"No, stop talking." Shuanghua covered her mouth, looking like she was about to vomit.
The orc hurriedly said, "Alright, alright, I won't say anymore. I know you can't stand it."
Shuanghua turned around and quickly left the crowd. She needed to go back and calm down, and she didn't want to see Chen Miao again, otherwise she might have nightmares.
Of course, not all the tribal beastmen were afraid of Shen Miao. Most of them thought she was very clever and that you have to be ruthless when dealing with enemies. Otherwise, everyone would think they were easy to bully and would want to take advantage of them.
Having learned this lesson, those who come in the future will surely think twice.
This battle was won beautifully.
Except for the dead, all the skeleton soldiers surrendered. Since they were leaderless, they were not afraid of their surrender. Shen Miao arranged for people to watch over them and kill them immediately if they overstepped their bounds.
But the skeleton soldiers were already terrified by Shen Miao's methods and dared not make the slightest move.
They were all as well-behaved as rabbits, which pleased Shen Miao greatly.
"What do you plan to do with these surrendered skeleton soldiers?" Qingchen asked Shenmiao.
Because of his injury, he did not go to the front line again, but he heard about Shen Miao's actions and did not react. Those skeleton soldiers deserved to die, especially that leader.
It was only natural for Shen Miao to kill him.
"I haven't decided yet," Shen Miao said, somewhat troubled.
Qingchen said in a deep voice, "These skeleton soldiers are numerous and difficult to control. If a decision is not made soon, things may change over time. Don't do more harm than good."
Shen Miao scratched her head and said helplessly, "I'll think of a solution as soon as possible. If all else fails, we'll just kick them out."
Anyway, without a leader, they won't amount to anything.
Qingchen pondered for a moment and said, "No, since we said we would accept them and then kicked them out, they must be resentful and might do something drastic."
"Then kill them all? But some of them don't deserve that."
The two discussed it for a long time but couldn't come up with a good solution. Finally, Shen Miao had an idea while drinking the flower tea she had brewed.
At home, none of the children, including Qingchen, drink flower tea, believing it to be poisonous, so only Chen Miao drinks it. She stared at the petals swirling at the bottom of the bowl, her eyes lighting up slightly as she came up with an idea.
Shen Miaochao didn't even bother to drink the tea; she immediately got up to find Jiuying.
She remembered that Jiuying had many related poisons, and he would tinker with them occasionally, but rarely used them.
Getting some now shouldn't be a problem.
Thinking this, Shen Miao spoke to Jiu Ying.
"Poison? What do you need that for?" Jiuying asked, puzzled.
