Shen Miao scrubbed the four cubs clean, and looking at their fair and tender appearance, she felt extremely satisfied.
But before she knew it, the four cubs picked up animal hides from the ground and put them on themselves. Shen Miao's scalp tingled with disgust. She slapped off Erbao's dirty animal hide and said with a pained expression, "Who told you to wear this?"

She reached out and grabbed Sanbao. She was fat and strong, and Sanbao looked like a little chick in her hands.
The other children panicked and rushed forward. Si Bao bit Shen Miao's arm, forcing her to let go. The four of them ran away naked as if they were on fire.

She looked down at the bite mark; it was a ring of teeth marks. Little Sibao had bitten her with great force, but being so small, the damage wasn't too severe. If it had been Dabao, she would have bled.

Despite her distress, Shen Miao still took out the animal hide to wash it after the four cubs had fallen asleep that night. Unlike clothes, it was very difficult to wash, and Shen Miao didn't handle it well, tearing a hole in it.

She tiptoed out and returned to her room. Qingchen lay quietly on the stone bed, her white hair spread out beneath her. When she was awake, the big fox always gave her a hard time, but she was well-behaved when she was asleep.
"Big villain, why aren't you being fierce anymore? Be fierce to me now!" Shen Miao pinched Qing Chen's high nose, played with his face for a while with her fingers, then realized she was being too childish, turned over, and fell asleep.
The next day, Shen Miao woke up before dawn, tiptoed out of the wooden house, and headed straight for the back mountain.

Shen Miao was in a good mood. The little ones had been wronged last night, so she would cook them a delicious meal today.
While Shen Miao was busy in the kitchen, the children woke up.
The four cubs, still half-asleep, looked at each other and were horrified to discover that they were only covered by a large animal skin, and the animal skins they were wearing were gone.
"That wicked female beast must have taken our animal skins while we were asleep."
“What do we do now? Without animal hides to wear, we’ll freeze to death in the snow.”
Sanbao jumped off the stone bed and said angrily, "I'll bite her again and steal the animal skin!"

The cubs responded enthusiastically, their anger making them forget the terror of the vicious female beast.
But before they could run out, Xiao Sibao suddenly exclaimed, "Hey, isn't this our animal hide?"
The children stopped when they heard the sound, and saw that Xiao Sibao was holding a piece of animal skin and fiddling with it. The animal skin was clean and there was a small yellow flower embroidered on the hem.
"She washed it clean for us and even embroidered flowers on it." Little Sibao touched the little flowers on the animal skin, quite pleased with them.
The other cubs were shocked. Was that neatly folded animal hide really theirs? And it was even washed clean! That vicious female beast despised them and never washed their hides.
The little ones' big eyes were full of confusion and bewilderment, not understanding what the vicious female beast was up to.
Da Bao was the first to react, and said coldly, "Hmph, that vicious female beast definitely wants to dress us up nicely so she can sell us off."
Upon hearing this, Erbao and Sanbao's faces immediately fell.
Xiao Sibao didn't say a word. She had already put on the animal skin and seemed to be a different person. Smelling the fragrant scent, her heart softened. She had never smelled such a nice scent before, nor had she ever seen such a beautiful animal skin skirt.
"Sibao, don't be fooled by her. Don't forget, she was the one who tried to sell you before. She hasn't changed at all; she's still that vicious female beast." Dabao solemnly lectured Xiao Sibao.
Erbao and Sanbao both thought he was right.
Just then, Shen Miao's strong voice came from outside the door: "Kids, come out and eat!"
With that sound, the aroma of meat wafted in, and the little ones' stomachs rumbled.
