When the door was pushed open, he immediately picked up his phone and pretended that he had been looking at it the whole time.
However, he soon heard the old butler say, "Master Fu, let Xiao He stay here and watch over you tonight."
Shangguan Fu wanted to ask the lady directly.
But after thinking about it, he held back and instead said rather coldly, "Okay."
She doesn't care about me at all, so why should I ask her?
Shangguan Fu tossed his phone aside and lay down on the bed.
The old housekeeper told Xiaohe to sleep on a makeshift bed on the floor in the room, saying, "If you need anything, just call me, and I'll sleep right next to you."
Xiaohe was the Shangguan family's bodyguard. He nodded and made up his pillow and blanket.
Hearing the two talking, Shangguan Fu still asked, "Where will Madam sleep?"
He didn't actually care at all; he just asked casually because he could smell her scent all around him.
Seeing that Shangguan Fu didn't even turn his head, the old butler said, "Madam has gone to bed in the guest room."
Shangguan Fu casually replied, "Oh."
The old butler assumed that Shangguan Fu was tired, and then said, "Master Fu, I'll go out first."
"good."
After the old housekeeper left, Shangguan Fu turned over in a bit of annoyance. This was all her scent; how could he possibly sleep like this?
Xiaohe looked up and felt that Master Fu was in good health. His head was wrapped in bandages, but he could still turn over and over, never stopping for a moment.
"Sir, would you like some water?"
When Shangguan Fu turned things around again, Xiao He asked a question.
"No, go to sleep. I'll call you if I need anything."
Shangguan Fu said somewhat irritably.
Xiaohe shut up. The room had a thick carpet, so it wasn't cold at all; in fact, it was quite warm.
So, the little river quickly fell asleep.
Listening to Xiaohe's soft snoring, Shangguan Fu thought that he must ask Ah Li what she thought of him tomorrow.
Then, smelling the familiar scent on the pillow, Shangguan Fu also fell into a deep sleep.
