Chapter 117 Plastic Best Friends 5

After hesitating for a long time, Ahri snapped her fingers and turned off the main power switch that controlled the shop's circuits.

The next second, in the pitch black, Ahri suddenly let out a scream.

Lin Le turned on the flashlight on his phone and quickly ran to Ali, asking, "Boss, are you alright?"

Ahri was crouching down, looking terrified.

"boss?"

Lin Le pointed the flashlight upwards, put it aside, and then half-squatted down, intending to help Ah Li up.

Ahri suddenly leaned in and said, "I'm afraid of the dark!"

Lin Le was caught off guard by Ah Li's sudden pounce and lost his balance. He didn't know if Ah Li did it on purpose.

Anyway, the two of them ended up falling to the ground, and Ah Li accidentally kissed Lin Le.

Just as Lin Le was catching a whiff of fragrance and a sweet smell, the electricity suddenly came back on.

Ahri blinked, then suddenly stood up, saying, "Sorry."

Then he walked away, seemingly quite calmly.

At the same time, Ahri touched her lips and thought: This child's lips are quite soft.

Lin Le waited for a long time before sitting up. He wiped his lips with the back of his hand and said, "It was an accident just now, it's okay."

Because of the power outage, all the customers in the store left quickly.

As Ahri washed the glasses, recalling her actions from earlier, she figured Lin Le wouldn't suspect anything.

Lin Le had his hand to his lips at this moment, but when he saw that Ah Li had her back to him, he quickly put it down and called out, "Boss."

Ahri put the glass in her hand into the cabinet and said, "It's getting late, let's go home soon."

Lin Le said, "Okay, then I'll be going now."

However, when Ah Li turned around, she found that Lin Le was still there and had not left.

Ah Li then asked, "Is there anything else?"

Lin Le thought for a moment, then suddenly said, "I will take responsibility for you."

Ahri quickly waved her hand and said, "No need, it was just an accident."

Lin Le, however, felt that regardless of whether it was an accident or not, he didn't dislike the kiss. He was a boy, and he had to take responsibility for it.

Ali had no intention of having anything happen between her and Lin Le. After wiping her hands clean, she continued, "If you're not in a hurry to leave, remember to lock the doors and windows. I'm leaving now."

"I send you."

Lin Le was about to turn off the lights in the shop when he remembered that Ah Li had said she was afraid of the dark, so he didn't.

Ah Li said, "No need to see me off, I live upstairs."

The entire building belongs to her. The staff dormitory is on the second floor, she lives on the third floor, and the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors are all rented out.

However, very few employees know this.

Because Ahri sometimes arrives too early or leaves too late, no employee has ever seen her.

In addition, the staircase is located at the back door, so few people would notice it unless they were paying special attention.

Even Tangtang didn't know that the entire building belonged to Ali. She only knew that the shop belonged to Ali, and she didn't ask any questions about it.

Lin Le assumed that Ali also lived in the staff dormitory, so he asked, "Which room do you live in?"

There are several staff dormitories on the second floor, but the other two employees rarely stay here because they live close to home.

Ah Li didn't explain. She just said, "Close the door first, I'm going upstairs."

Lin Le nodded and said, "Okay."

However, when Lin Le returned to his dormitory, he discovered that Ah Li had not told him which room she was staying in, and he had not added her on WeChat.

Lin Le put his phone aside somewhat sullenly. But even if he knew which room Ah Li was in, what was he going to do? Go over there late at night to chat with someone?

Lost in thought, Lin Le fell asleep without realizing it.

However, Lin Le didn't sleep well tonight.

He dreamt that he was tied up and someone called his family demanding a ransom, and he kept thinking that he had to run away on his own.

Later, he did manage to escape, but because someone was chasing him, he lost his footing and fell off a cliff, where there was a vast ocean below.

Those people stopped chasing him. He drifted for a long time before being rescued by fishermen in that area.

However, he lost his memory due to lack of oxygen caused by being submerged in water for too long.

During that time, Lin Le, who had recovered from his injuries, followed the fishermen, going out to fish from dawn till dusk.

Back then, fishermen went out early and returned late, and there were no entertainment options. Their mobile phones were all those old-fashioned PHS phones or big brother phones—basically, they were easy to carry, had good signal, and you wouldn't feel bad if they fell into the sea.

Therefore, no one had seen the news, and no one knew that Lin Le was Ouyang Le, the boy who was kidnapped by the kidnappers.

However, one day, two outsiders suddenly appeared here.

They noticed Lin Le and called out to him, "Ouyang Le!"

Lin Le subconsciously turned around and saw the two men looking at him with smiles on their faces, saying, "Nephew, your uncle has finally found you."

Lin Le had no memory of that time. The two people said they had been looking for his relatives and told him a lot about him, including his photos.

No one knew that the two people obtained Ouyang Le's photos and information from television and newspapers.

So, Lin Le was taken away by them.

The two men kept saying, "Ah Le, don't worry, if you come with us, we guarantee you'll live a life of luxury from now on."

Lin Le was somewhat incredulous at what they were saying, but they had indeed never starved him. However, he noticed that the two of them would occasionally take videos and photos of him.

Then, every now and then, they would receive a large sum of money.
