Inside Ahri's palace on Mermaid Star.
Ahri had just poked her head out of the pool when she noticed Haas was there too.
Hass never expected that Ahri would be in the pool at this time.
"I'm sorry, Your Highness, I didn't know you were there. I'll leave now."
Has wanted to leave, but Ahri said, "No need, this pool is big enough, one more person won't make a difference."
The golden fish tail flashed past Haas's feet, and Haas's gaze followed the golden fish tail to Ahri.
Ah Li wasn't shy at all. She swam around once, then floated on the surface and asked, "Are you done with your work?"
"Yes, Your Highness."
Has looked away and noticed that the water temperature seemed to have risen considerably.
Since Has was sent here, Ahri didn't arrange any other accommodations for him and just let him live here with her.
Haas usually comes in at different times than Ahri.
Although Ahri hasn't changed gender yet, her previous appearance is not much different from Haas's.
However, Ahri rarely exposes her lower body, below the abdomen.
Below the waist and abdomen, what we saw this time was also a golden fish tail.
Has gradually became lost in thought, his hand slowly pressing on his waist and abdomen, realizing that, to be honest, he was actually a bit stronger than Ahri.
In the azure pool, Ahri gently swayed her golden fish tail, leaning against the edge of the pool.
She turned to look at Has, whose eyes were lowered, a hint of tenderness in his deep, ocean-like eyes, and said, "You've done well lately. You can tell me what you want."
Ahri's voice seemed to possess a magical power that Haas could not resist.
Has then raised his eyes to look at Ahri, his long eyelashes glistening with water droplets that occasionally dripped down.
Ahri twitched her fingertips. "So beautiful!"
Has said bluntly, "I want the star card that His Highness threw into the pile of pearls." His voice was firm and powerful, as if nothing could shake his resolve.
"You want that one? But star cards are usually bound to a master."
“Your Highness, to be honest, that star card originally belonged to me.” Has said, then looked at Ahri.
When he first saw his star card, he thought Ahri had deliberately thrown it into the pearl pile, because she knew that the star card belonged to him.
But now he doesn't think so anymore.
Ahri was slightly taken aback, but quickly regained her composure.
Of course she was faking it.
Ahri chuckled and said, "Was that star card originally yours?"
As soon as she finished speaking, she leaped out of the water, leaving only a trail of ripples on the surface.
All Haas saw was her bare upper body, wearing loose white trousers, as she left.
Ahri quickly walked out of the room and returned shortly afterward with the star card.
She casually tied her long golden hair back, looking both dashing and alluring.
“Come, lie down here, I’ll put it on for you.” She pointed to a soft chaise lounge by the pool and gestured to Has.
Has didn't move; he stared directly into Ahri's eyes, as if trying to see through her heart.
“Your Highness, I can do it myself.” His voice trembled slightly.
Ahri crouched behind Haas, reached out and gently touched the back of Haas's neck, where there was a hideous scar that ran straight down to his spine.
Those were the marks left by those space pirates who forcibly pried open and stole the star card; they haven't healed yet.
Haas clenched his fists, struggling to suppress the urge to escape.
"Your Highness." Has turned around and tried to take Ahri's hand.
"Don't move." Ahri's voice was gentle yet carried an irresistible authority.
Ahri continued, "I heard that it hurts a lot when a Star Card is separated from the body and then re-fused."
"I'm not afraid of pain, Your Highness."
"Then let me help you. As far as I know, the Star Card slot is on the back of the neck. Are you sure you can really do it?"
As Ahri spoke, she stood up and waited for Has to come out of the water.
Has hesitated for a moment before slowly getting up.
A handsome man emerging from a bath!
Ahri resisted the urge to whistle and turned to walk towards the soft couch.
Soon, Has was wearing the same style of black trousers as Ahri, and he was lying on the soft couch by the pool.
Ahri reached out and gently stroked the back of Haas's neck, then used her very sharp nails to scratch Haas's skin.
"Does it hurt?" Ahri asked.
Has shook his head and said, "It doesn't hurt."
Compared to the brutal and violent methods used by those space pirates back then, Ahri's approach was much more lenient.
Ahri whispered, "Mermaids' nails are very sharp, and they also have a slight numbing effect. If you still feel pain, I'll start to doubt your pain tolerance."
Has didn't say anything. In fact, he didn't feel any pain at all; instead, he was attracted by the sensation of the touch moving around the back of his neck.
Because the feeling was very peculiar, giving him a tingling, numb sensation.
Ahri moved quickly. She swiftly sliced open Has's skin, accurately located the slot for the Star Card, and carefully placed the Star Card inside.
As the Star Card re-embedded into Has's body, a sound like a machine restarting rang out.
The gruesome scar on Has's back was repaired and disappeared in the next second.
Ahri was not surprised at all. In the Interstellar Federation, as long as you have a Star Card, you can recover from any injury in an instant.
As long as the star card remains undamaged and continues to flash, the owner is practically immortal.
