Chapter 13 Peach Blossom Fairy 2

After she finished playing the flute, Ah Li shooed Min Chuan to bed, saying, "Get a good night's sleep. I'll go prepare some food for you."

"Mmm." Min Chuan closed his eyes, and only after Ah Li left did he open them, touch his hair, and then fell asleep again with a smile on his lips.

When Ah Li came out of the room, the butler was directing people to clean up the study. There were smashed things, wine bottles, cigarette butts, and useless papers.

When the butler saw Ah Li come out, he came over and asked, "Would Miss Ah Li like to go and rest first?"

"No need, I'll go cook something for Min Chuan."

As Ahri spoke, she walked into the kitchen, turned on a low flame, and started cooking some white rice porridge.

Ah Li shook her head helplessly when she learned from the housekeeper that Min Chuan had not been eating or drinking and had been smoking and drinking heavily.

People don't know how to protect their bodies. Doesn't their stomach hurt if they go hungry for too long?

After the white rice porridge was cooked, Ali pressed the keep warm button.

A moment later, the cell phone on the table rang.

Ah Li answered the phone and heard Mrs. Min on the other end say, "Ah Li, how is Min Chuan now?"

"He's asleep, Aunt."

Madam Min laughed on the other end and said, "It's only when you come back that the boy will listen to you. You have no idea how he hasn't even answered my calls lately. Even when I go over there, he won't even see me."

"Achuan is probably in a bad mood lately, I'll try to comfort him."

After chatting for a while, Ali hung up the phone.

In this world, Ahri is a pitiful little girl whose parents died in an accident, so Minchuan's parents took her into their home.

Ah Li and Min Chuan practically grew up together, but as they grew up, Ah Li was busy with her career and was rarely home.

Actually, it was also to distance herself from this deity. Otherwise, Ah Li was worried that if they spent too much time together, and Ah Li became Min Chuan's love advisor, what would she do if she needed Ah Li's help?

After all, the final reward is a life-or-death opportunity.

Soon, Min Chuan woke up and came downstairs in his pajamas.

As soon as he came down, he walked over to Ahri, who was sitting on the sofa, and sat down next to Ahri as if he had no bones.

Ali put down the book in her hand, stroked Min Chuan's hair, and asked, "Did you sleep well?"

"fine."

Min Chuan noticed the book Ah Li had just been looking at and asked, "Was that book good?"

"Well, it's alright. It covers some psychology." The book wasn't actually Ah Li's; it was just sitting on the coffee table, and she picked it up to read it out of boredom.

Min Chuan reached out and took it, flipped through a few pages, then found it boring and tossed the book aside.

Ah Li didn't say anything to him, but nudged him and said, "Time to eat."

Min Chuan responded, but still didn't move.

The butler hurriedly had someone bring over some white porridge, and then looked at Ah Li with longing eyes.

Ahri reluctantly took it, gently stirred it with the spoon, and said, "You're such a grown-up, yet you're still like a child."

Min Chuan smiled and opened his mouth slightly towards Ah Li, saying, "In front of my sister, I will always be the younger brother."

Ahri had no choice but to feed him a bite, and then said, "Your aunt hired several chefs for you, but you didn't eat any. How are those chefs supposed to feel?"

Min Chuan ate the food Ah Li fed him, muttering, "Who wouldn't eat? I'm eating now, but my sister's cooking is still the best."

Min Chuan immediately recognized that it was cooked by Ali. Only Ali could make it taste like that. Although other chefs' cooking was good, he just wanted to eat Ali's cooking.

Ali flicked Min Chuan's forehead, put the bowl in his hand, and said, "Hurry up and finish eating. I'm going upstairs to rest for a bit. I'll prepare some of my favorite dishes for dinner."

When Min Chuan saw that Ah Li was about to leave, he immediately tried to put down the bowl and said, "Let me rest with you, sister."

Ahri turned around and glared at him, then stood lazily in front of Min Chuan and said, "You just said my cooking was delicious, so you'd better finish it."

Min Chuan wanted to say no, but she had just said that if she didn't eat, her sister would be sad.

Min Chuan scooped a spoonful of white porridge into his mouth, swallowed it, and looked at Ah Li, saying, "Hey, I ate it."

"Good girl, we'll have a good chat tonight." Ahri yawned and turned to go upstairs.

Min Chuan knew that Ah Li was exhausted from rushing back. He pressed his temple and asked the butler, "Who sent my sister back?"

Ahri is currently abroad and has to catch a flight back. She also needs to adjust to the time difference, so she must be very tired.

The butler wiped his sweat and said, "It was Madam who asked Miss Biao to come back and rest for a while."

It's because the young master always listens to his cousin. Just look at his posture just now, he's like a harmless kitten. Normally, he's a stern statue.

Min Chuan sighed, eating the white porridge in his bowl, and said, "Then let the cook prepare well, and make sure my sister has a good meal tonight."

When Ah Li woke up, she found Min Chuan leaning against her headboard, flipping through the book she had been reading downstairs not long ago.

"Sister's awake. Did you sleep well?"

"Mmm, it feels very comfortable."

Ahri sat up and stretched.

Min Chuan, who was standing next to her, came over and helped Ah Li tuck her thick curly hair behind her head.

“Sister, your hair has grown longer again.” Min Chuan said, putting the hair tie from his wrist into Ah Li’s hair.

Ahri touched her hair and said, "Has it grown long? I'll just cut it when the time comes."

"Do you want to cut it again? Isn't it better to leave it as is? If you find it troublesome to take care of, I'm happy to help."

Min Chuan knelt beside Ah Li, holding a strand of hair in his hand.
