Chapter 134 The Male Lead as a Bodyguard in the Apocalypse 2

Soon, the off-road vehicle was modified by Ahri.

Ah Li looked at the SUV with its large wheels almost as tall as her waist, and the modified trunk. Inside the trunk were a bed, a table, a sofa, a separate bathroom, and a kitchenette, which she thought was perfect.

There's also a crashproof front end, and Ahri even has an electric conductor installed, so anyone who touches it will feel 80 million volts of electricity.

As expected, she remains a perfect ace system.

After Ahri finished her reflections, she got into her car and drove off.

Along the way, Ah Li turned on the navigation and located Duanmu Ye's current position, then drove there.

Because it's the apocalypse, Ahri has decided to make full use of her own system's power this time.

The auto shop lost power earlier, so we couldn't use welding equipment. We moved a few generators out of the system space, and also some parts that the auto shop didn't have, which we had in the system space.

If your phone has no network, you can use the system's Wi-Fi hotspot.

Ahri said that she had paid a lot for this world's system space, and she would definitely collect more resources to prepare for any eventuality.

As for the original owner's space, it contains the original owner's belongings.

When Ah Li arrived at Duanmu Ye's location, she saw that Duanmu Ye was still fighting against the zombies. He used lightning and fire powers in one hand and was wreaking havoc on the battlefield.

Duanmu Ye also heard the sound of a car. He turned around and saw Ah Li sitting in the driver's seat.

Ahri called out in a nonchalant tone, "Handsome young man! Need any help?"

Duanmu Ye turned his head away immediately, ignoring Ah Li.

However, he led the zombies over!

Ahri cursed inwardly, "This guy has no sportsmanship!"

This time, she didn't want to save people like the original owner did. She wanted to make Duanmu Ye need her help, and then negotiate terms with him.

As the zombies drew closer, Ahri stepped on the gas and sped off.

Little did anyone know that Duanmu Ye would flip himself onto the roof of the car and occasionally throw his supernatural abilities into the horde of zombies.

Ahri's car also crashed into a large number of zombies, and the 80 million volts of electricity finally came in handy.

Ah Li didn't hold it against Duanmu Ye for getting on the roof of the car without saying a word.

She accelerated and rushed out.

Ahri stopped the car when the number of zombies around them gradually decreased until they reached a deserted place.

Duanmu Ye sat calmly on the roof of the car, even closing his eyes to rest.

Ah Li opened the sunroof, climbed out of the car and onto the roof. She sat cross-legged, took a lighter out of her pocket, and asked Duanmu Ye, "Want a smoke?"

Duanmu Ye shook his head and said, "No need."

Ahri didn't smoke originally, because she was dressed as a man, and smoking is sometimes considered a form of social interaction for men.

So, Ahri asked this question in order to make herself seem more like a man.

Her mission this time is to save the male protagonist.

As for whether or not to have children, Ahri thinks it's best to forget about it in the apocalypse.

Unless the apocalypse ends, this world will remain fraught with danger, overrun by zombies, and occasionally punctuated by red rain that can cause mutations.

Unless she's out of her mind, having a baby at this time would be harmful to the baby.

Even if she were a system, she couldn't guarantee that her offspring would be healthy in the apocalypse.

Sometimes, the rules of a world don't change because of who you are or how powerful you are.

The rules of this world will remain the same.

So, Ahri thought, it would be great if I could become brothers with the male protagonist in this world.

Duanmu Ye suddenly opened his eyes, a sharp glint in them, and said to Ah Li, "Wipe it off."

"wipe?"

Ah Li immediately realized that Duanmu Ye had noticed that the scars on her face were drawn on.

But why should she listen to him? He can just wipe it off as he says.

With a flick of his finger, Duanmu Ye created a water bubble that suddenly appeared in front of Ah Li, catching her off guard and drenching her head and face.

"You've gone too far!" Ahri shouted, pulling out her iron rod.

She's going to beat this guy to death!

Duanmu Ye continued, "It was too ugly just now. I don't like seeing that in my sight."

Therefore, when Duanmu Ye encountered zombies, he always killed them quickly and ruthlessly by simply raising his hand.

Ahri, holding a stick, pointed it at Duanmu Ye and said, "I want to fight you!"

Duanmu Ye refused, saying, "You can't beat me."

Ahri gritted her teeth and charged forward, swinging her iron rod directly at Duanmu Ye's head.

Duanmu Ye didn't use his special abilities. Seeing that Ah Li was serious, he directly fought Ah Li with his bare hands, and they went back and forth.

Ah Li was also secretly surprised. It seemed that Duanmu Ye had water abilities in addition to mutated fire and lightning abilities.

Furthermore, even without superpowers, this person is still very strong in combat.

Soon, Duanmu Ye grabbed Ahri's iron rod, and Ahri grabbed the other end.

"Let go, I'm not fighting anymore," Ahri said to Duanmu Ye.

Duanmu Ye glanced at Ah Li and saw that Ah Li's body was almost dry before he stopped.

He'd observed it; the car was decent, but the man was so-so—good enough to keep as a lackey.

She looks like a weakling, with fair and delicate skin, not at all like someone who has survived the apocalypse. It's probably because she always wears that makeup.

However, he is not weak in a fight; he can withstand about ten moves from him, which is better than the people in the base.

Ahri put the iron rod into her spatial storage right in front of Duanmu Ye, then jumped out of the sunroof and returned to the car.
